This weird detail about Fox’s ring has taken the internet by storm.

One writes: “So it plays his music if she tries to take it off?”

“Dating him was enough physical pain,” jokes another.

A third pens: “They’re giving middle school goth couple that only hung out with each other and always fought in the hallway. If we tell them they’re edgy and different and better than the rest of us will they go away?”

“She talks about the way she’s raising her children and I feel a ton of respect for her approach. I wish I knew a lot less about her relationship with MGK. Everything I’ve learned about the two of them has been against my will,” somebody else comments.

The couple met in 2020 and got engaged in 2022 – although, recently, Fox has confirmed the relationship has been called off.

In an appearance on the Call Me Daddy podcast, the This Is 40 star shares: “All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred. I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up?’

“I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption.

“I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.

“I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”

In an interview with Vogue, MGK said: “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings.

“When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns.

“So, if she tries to take it off, it hurts.”

The ‘Emo Girl’ rapper designed it that way with Stephen Webster because he believes ‘love is pain’.

MGK explained on Instagram: “I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”

In her announcement post, Fox added: “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.”
