MrBeast’s Kris Tyson ‘Really Proud’ As She Shares New Name And Pronouns
YouTuber Kris Tyson says she is ‘really proud’ as she reveals that she has changed her name and pronouns.
Tyson, 27, is an American social media star who is known for co-hosting the MrBeast channel, where the pair post challenge and prank videos.
Earlier this year, the content creator announced that she would be using any pronouns, as well as undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

At the time, many fans questioned Tyson’s physical appearance and she replied to a question about her gender identity, saying: “Someone finding themself does not always mean they are now x identity.
“However this is a great time to say trans rights are human rights. Let people exist and be happy. And if this makes you mad enjoy being on the wrong side of history looking back.”
And now Tyson has appeared on Anthony Padilla’s YouTube channel to mark a significant step in her journey.
During the interview, the YouTube star reveals that she is a trans woman and prefers the use of she/her pronouns, while having also changed the spelling of her first name.
Tyson tells Padilla that this is the first time that she has openly spoken about her transition, as she’s playing ‘catch up’ with the internet.
She explains: “I have never said that public, no. But, I’ve been fully confident in that decision for over a year now. My idea was to play catchup with the internet in the way that I discover myself.
“Six, seven, eight months ago my hair started growing out, all these kinds of things. I wasn’t quite sure exactly who I was yet, but I knew I was not cis-gendered.

“I needed the freedom to express myself and figure out who I was.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Tyson opens up about discovering her identity, saying: “I’m very proud of who I was and how I’ve gotten here – it took me a long time to get here – but I’m finally here so I’m not ashamed of all of that or anything, I’m actually really proud of it.”
Tyson’s fans have rushed to show the YouTube star support, inundating her with messages saying how proud they are of her.
One user writes: “Kris looks genuinely so happy now. Look at her. I’m so happy she’s finally able to be her authentic self.”
Another fan adds: “She is stunning, she is grace, she wears heels so high that I question how she walks.”
Somebody else comments: “I cried the entire time watching the video, we’re so unbelievably proud of you! Thank you for sharing your story with us.”
