Supernatural Star Nicki Aycox Has Died Aged 47
Supernatural star Nicki Aycox has tragically passed away aged 47.
Aycox, who was born in Hennessey, Oklahoma, starred in a number of film roles, including Jeepers Creepers 2 and Animals.
She also had a stellar career in television, with roles in Cold Case, LAX, Ed, Law & Order, Las Vegas, Dark Blue, USA High, Dark Angel, Ally McBeal, The X-Files, Boy Meets World, Providence, and more.
The actress’ last acting role came in the 2014 film, Dead on Campus, in which she played Danielle Williams.
A year later, Aycox began a music career, releasing a five-song debut EP, ‘Red Velvet Room’.

According to a number of reports, Aycox was diagnosed with leukaemia over a year ago. However, her cause of death has not been confirmed at the time of writing.
She is reported to have passed away on November 16.
The film and TV star’s sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, confirmed her passing in a statement posted on Facebook.
Ceklosky penned: “My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side.
“Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California.”
She added: “She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her.”

Aycox rose to prominence while portraying Meg Masters on Supernatural in the first and fourth season.
The show’s creator, Erik Kripke, paid tribute to Aycox on Twitter, writing: “Gutted to hear the great Nicki Aycox, our first Meg Masters, passed away. Too young.
“She was a delight and delivered lines like honey and venom. I marvel at how she made a simple word like ‘lackluster’ legendary.”
Fellow actor, Jim Beaver, added: “My first Supernatural episode was with Nicki. She was a terrific actress and a delightful colleague.
“I’m so sad to hear of her death. Sleep well, my friend.”
As well as her former colleagues, many fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to Aycox.
One person wrote: “I’m going to feel a sorrow feeling every time I watch the first season of Supernatural.
“She is memorable as Meg Masters, an astonishing actress.
“This news made my day so cloudy. Hope she is happy in heaven. Death isn’t the end, really.”

Another said: “Really sad about this. Her Meg wasn’t my fave, but I loved when she came back for S4 as the revenant of the real Meg. And I loved her in Jeepers Creepers 2. A tragic loss, especially so young.
“Thinking of her family and all who knew/worked with her.
“She’ll always be a part of the Supernatural family.”
A third wrote: “So sad to hear that Nicki Aycox has died. She was SO brilliant as Meg in Supernatural. As always: f*** cancer.”
