Pamela Anderson, 57, Hailed ‘Most Beautiful Woman’ In The World After Removing Makeup
Fans have declared Pamela Anderson the ‘most beautiful woman’ in the world after she attended a film festival wearing no makeup.
Anderson, 57, is considered a cultural icon, having had a successful career in acting and modeling.
She cemented herself as a s** symbol by starring as C.J. Parker in the action drama series Baywatch and by appearing on the most Playboy magazine covers.
While Anderson now spends her days working on passion projects, such as a cookbook and documentary, she occasionally makes red-carpet appearances.
Following her latest, people have been left wowed by her refreshingly bare-faced appearance.
Discussing the icon’s makeup-free appearance, one fan writes: “She will always be fabulous and beautiful.”
Another adds: “She’s as gorgeous as ever, if not more so.”
“Her beauty shines through,” comments a third. “No makeup necessary.”
Somebody else remarks: “She looks so fresh, there’s something so illuminating about natural human beauty.”
“She is so naturally beautiful and real,” says a fifth.
While someone else declares Anderson the ‘most beautiful woman’ in the world.
The flurry of comments came after Anderson attended a photocall for her upcoming movie, The Last Showgirl, during the 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain, reports ABC News.
She wore a flowing floral dress, small diamond stud earrings, and sheer nude heels. Later, she appeared at the film’s premiere styled in a caped pink gown with her hair classically pinned up.
For both events, the model kept her face relatively bare, except for a hint of red lipstick at the latter appearance.
But this isn’t when Anderson’s no-makeup era began.
Last year, in September 2023, the Barb Wire star didn’t wear makeup when attending the Row show in Paris, per Glamour.
This marked a series of appearances in which fans saw Anderson’s natural beauty shine through.
While fans adore this new chapter of the icon’s life, it turns out there’s actually a heartbreaking reason behind her decision not to wear makeup.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Anderson opened up about ditching her signature look of penciled-in brows, overlined lips, and dark eyeliner.
She said following the death of her makeup artist Alexis Vogel, who passed away in 2019 from breast cancer, it just wasn’t the same.
Anderson explained: “She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.
“[The new look] is freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too. Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing.”
She added: “I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.”
In an interview with Allure, Anderson elaborated on the matter, stating that although she ‘liked that it resonated,’ she never intended to make a statement on beauty culture.
During Anderson’s most recent appearance at the Zurich Film Festival, where she accepted the Golden Eye award, the star candidly spoke of her appearance and how it’s affected her career.
Discussing her documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, and memoir, ‘Love, Pamela,’ the star said she feels like she’s being seen in a new and exciting light.
She shared (per InStyle): “I always knew I was capable of more. It’s great to be a part of pop culture, but it’s a blessing and a curse. People fall in love with you because of a bathing suit. It has taken a long time, but I am here.”
