Travis Kelce and his coach Andy Reid have revealed all after a heated moment between them at the Super Bowl went viral

At this year’s Super Bowl, there were a ton of memorable moments.

Be it Usher’s incredible performance (that he wasn’t even paid for) or Beyoncé stealing his thunder by announcing her next album, the show certainly got people talking.

But on the field, there was one moment which dominated headlines.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce seemingly yelled at his coach Reid, and in doing so attracted backlash from the Swifties.

And now, the pair has revealed what really went down between them…

People on X, formerly known as Twitter, were not happy after seeing this heated exchange.

One writes: “Talk about poor sportsmanship.”

Another adds: “Not only inappropriate but highly unprofessional!”

A third writes: “This is completely inappropriate behaviour. A) that’s your boss and B) he’s also your elder.”

Somebody else comments: “Completely inappropriate, not to mention the poor example it sets to players and parents across the country on how their coaches can be treated. A little respect goes a long way.”

The viral moment saw Kelce appearing to yell in Reid’s face, even seemingly shoving him at one point.

People have been going wild trying to figure out what was said between the pair, though Kelce was initially tight-lipped on the topic.

“You guys saw that?” he said, per MailOnline. “I’m going to keep it between us unless my mic’d up tells the world. I was just telling him how much I loved him.”

“He’s one of the best leaders of men I’ve ever seen in my life. And he’s helped me a lot with that, with channelling that emotion, with channelling that passion. I owe my entire career to that guy and being able to kind of control how emotional I get and I just love him,” Kelce said when explaining the incident.

Reid also downplayed the incident, adding: “He caught me off balance. I wasn’t watching. He was really coming over [and saying], ‘Just put me in, I’ll score. I’ll score’. So, that’s really what it was. I love that. It’s not the first time. I appreciate him.

“The part I love is he loves to play the game and he wants to help his team win. It’s not a selfish thing. That’s not what it is. I understand that.

“As much as he bumps into me, I get after him and we understand that. He just caught me off balance.”

A lip reader has since claimed to Daily Mail that the 34-year-old said to his coach: “Keep me in. You f***er! I’m calm now!”

However, now a source has revealed all about what actually went down.

Speaking to Page Six, a source close to Kelce claims: “He respects Coach Reid. It’s really just about the passion of the game. It wasn’t anything serious.”

They add: “He’s just a passionate player and everyone’s on edge. It’s the Super Bowl! But there was no malintent.”
