The wife of Indiana Jones star Christian Oliver has issued a statement after he died alongside their daughters.

Devastating news hit Jessica Mazur this week as it was confirmed her ex-husband Christian Oliver and their two daughters had died.

Oliver was born in Celle, West Germany, in 1972, and worked as an actor.

He first hit the big time as Brian Kelleron in Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1995.

However, the role that made him famous was in the German action TV series Alarm für Cobra 11, which he starred in between 2002 and 2004.

Oliver also offered his voice acting talents, most recently in the latest Indiana Jones installment Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

But tragically, it has been confirmed that Oliver died in a Caribbean plane crash.

Oliver was travelling between Bequia in St. Vincent and St. Lucia in the Caribbean when the plane nose-dived into the 70-foot-deep waters.

Horrifyingly, his two daughters, Madita and Annik, were also on board the plane – they were just 10 and 12 years old.

All passengers died in the crash, including pilot Robert Sachs.

Police drew attention to the aid offered by local fishermen and divers to recover the wreckage, saying: “The selfless and brave acts of the fishermen and divers is very much appreciated.”

And following the devastating news, Oliver’s final heartbreaking Instagram post has gone viral.

He shared an image of a tropical beach, alongside a text overlay reading: “Let love rule. Wishing all of you the best for 2024!”

One fan commented: “My deepest sympathy to his wife on the unimaginable loss of husband and two daughters. There are no words.”

Another wrote: “It feels so surreal, and I can’t imagine the pain that the mother of your children is going through… sending you and the family, my deepest, heartfelt love, and I know there’s nothing that I could say that would assuage the bereavement of those who love you including me.”

And now, Oliver’s ex-wife, Mazur, has shared a statement on Instagram.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane accident on January 4, 2024, which took the lives of our beloved family members,” the statement reads.

“Madita, a vibrant 7th-grade student at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing, and performances.

“Annik, a 4th-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognised for her gentle yet strong demeanour. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug. Her passions included basketball, swimming, and various forms of art.

“The deep bond, infectious laughter, and adventurous spirit shared by Madita and Annik will be profoundly missed in their communities.

“Their devoted mother, Jessica Klepser in LA, survives the girls. They also leave behind their grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany.

“Christian, an actor in Europe and the US, and a real estate agent with a broad network of close friends worldwide, is survived by Jessica, his parents and sister in Germany. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.”
