Whether or not you believe in extra-terrestrial life, it’s something to note when the most secretive organisation begins to validate the existence of life beyond Earth.
The House of Representatives in the US held a landmark panel on UFOs – or as they are officially known as unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAPs).
Three witnesses shared their encounters with objects over the course of two hours, where they all expressed their concerns that UFOs are a potential national security threat.

The hearing didn’t drop any major bombshells or confirm alien life, which many were eagerly awaiting to find out, but what made it significant was the fact that the witnesses got a major opportunity to speak before Congress.
During the panel, both lawmakers and witnesses took the chance to push for more transparency regarding UAPs from the military.
Retired US Navy commander David Fravor recounted his encounter with a ‘tic-tac’ shaped UAP in 2004 – with footage getting released in 2017 and publicly verified by the US Navy two years later.
“The technology that we faced was far superior than anything that we had, have today, or are looking to develop in the next 10+ years,” Mr Fravor claimed.
Ex-Air Force intelligence officer David Charles Grusch was also in attendance to give evidence.
He held the position of colonel at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) but decided to act on a hunch as he felt something wasn’t right with the data of an operation to which he was denied access.
Addressing the panel, he said: “I became a whistleblower through a PPD19 urgent concern filing in May 2022.”
Grusch followed on and claimed that ‘the US Government is operating with secrecy above congressional oversight’ regarding UFOs.
“My testimony is based on information I’ve been given by individuals with a longstanding track record of legitimacy and service to this country,” he added.
Grusch proceeded to inform South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace during the congressional hearing that he was provided with ‘compelling evidence in the form of photography, official documentation, and classified oral testimony’.
When questioned about his findings from the data collection and testimonies of those working closely with the operations, Grusch disclosed that ‘biologics’ were recovered from crash sites.
Referencing his previous media interviews, he added that ‘biologics came with some of these recoveries’.
This led to Mace asking the all-important question: “Were they human or non-human?”
“Non-human, and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the programme I talked to,” he responded.
Although, Grusch did mention in a different line of questioning that he had never personally seen an alien body.
He continued: “As I’ve stated publicly already in my NewsNation interview, biologics came with some of these recoveries.”

Addressing why he became a whistleblower, Grusch stated: “I am driven by [a] commitment to both the truth and transparency, rooted in our inherent duty to uphold the United States Constitution and protect the American people.”
During his tenure as a member of the UAP task force from 2019 to 2021, stationed at the NRO Operations Centre, the intelligence officer had access to a substantial amount of confidential information.
He explained that in 2019: “The UAP task force director asked me to identify all special access programmes and controlled access programmes we needed to satisfy our congressionally mandated mission.”
