Disney enthusiasts have found themselves scratching their heads after realising that a part of the beloved movie introduction they vividly remember never actually existed.
The Disney castle appearing ahead of the classic children’s films is a nostalgic memory for many of us, however, all may not be as it seems.
Do you recall the enchanting moment when Tinker Bell gracefully flew over the castle to sprinkle fairy dust and delicately dot the ‘I’ in Disney with her wand?
Well apparently, this never actually happened.

It’s believed many of us have experienced the Mandela Effect, which refers to a situation where a large mass of people believe an event occurred when it did not.
TikTok users have been left baffled as they’ve come to realise that their cherished childhood memory is no more real than Tinker Bell herself – a discovery that somewhat diminishes the sparkle of the pixie dust.
One user posted the intro with a voiceover saying: “How is this even possible?”
A mind-blowing screengrab underneath the video reads: “Is Tinker Bell at the beginning of Disney movies?
“Fake. Based on everything that we know, this never actually happened. Disney did not release a video intro where Tinkerbell ‘dots the I’ on the word Disney.
“Instead, people are likely combining several memories into one.”

After the viral video circulated on TikTok, many Disney fans have been left unhappy, with one person taking to the comments and writing: “I’m tired of people telling me I remember wrong. This I remember vividly.”
A second user adds: “I remember this intro from around 25 years ago. It was on all the Disney VIDEOS, not CD or Blu-ray… VIDEOS.”
A third user chimes in, insisting: “It did happen, I saw this as a child, I’m 35 and I saw this when I was 5..before google was born.”

Whilst a large number of Disney fans have been quick to try and argue that Tinker Bell was always present during the iconic castle intro clip, there are a few online users that are adamant she was never featured.
One person comments: “I’ve never seen this intro with Tinker Bell on.”
Another writes: “I don’t remember this, it’s obviously fake. But there’s a cartoonist one where she flies around and dots the I, I swear.”
