This Morning star Dr Uchenna Okoye’s cause of death has been disclosed.
The celebrity TV dentist made regular appearances on the daytime show offering medical advice to viewers.
She also prominently featured on Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger in 10 Days, Daybreak and BBC Breakfast.
Sadly, news broke that Okoye passed away aged 53 on September 15.

It has now been disclosed that Okoye’s cause of death was due to subarachnoid haemorrhage which was caused by a ruptured blood vessel – known as an aneurysm – and this led to bleeding in the space between the brain and the tissues surrounding it.
Speaking about the tragic loss, a family spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “Dr Uchenna’s sudden death was due to natural causes. We are devastated, and our hearts are broken that her beautiful, full life has been cut so short.
“As a family, our priority right now is to take care of her young daughter and continue her legacy and keep her memory alive. A private celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks.”
Okoye’s passing was confirmed in a statement on her Instagram account, which read: “We are heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023.
“We know many of you will be devastated and shocked to see this post. We ask for your prayers and some privacy at this difficult time. We will be in touch in the coming days.”

The celebrity dentist had two of her own dental practices and owned a line of specialist dental products.
She was the Clinical Director of the London Smiling Dental Group and was one of a small group of dentists to have membership in both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr Okoye had qualified at Guy’s Hospital in London and was an expert in the cosmetics industry as well as achieving a Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry at the New York University (Rosenthal Institute).
On top of this, she was also an honourary clinician at St. George’s Hospital in London.

Many people have taken to social media to pay tribute to Dr Okoye following the devastating news.
Holly Willoughby, who worked with her on This Morning, said: “Unbelievably sad to hear of the passing of @druchennaokoye.”
“We first worked together many moons ago with @oralb_uk and she was very kind to me… and then of course again, giving her advice on @thismorning. Sending all my love to her family.”
BBC radio presenter Jo Whiley also added: “Devastating news. Sending love to her daughter, family and London Smiling team. Strong, beautiful, funny Uchenna. Awful. Just awful.”
“Goodness! Such incredibly sad news! What a loss. Sending huge condolences to her friends and family,” commented a third.
