Eminem has proved that something actually does rhyme with the word ‘orange’.

Slim Shady, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is one of the most successful rappers of all time.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ star, 50, has sold more than 220 million albums worldwide, with more than 50 platinum album certifications.

The ‘Rap God’ has now gone one step further – by rhyming a word that was seemingly impossible.

Watch as Eminem proves that words do rhyme with orange…

The ‘Without Me’ rapper explains to Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes how it’s possible to make the word sound and flow with other words.

He adds that it is all about figuring out the ‘science to breaking down words’.

Eminem explains: “The word orange doesn’t rhyme with anything and it kind of p****s me off because I can think of a lot of things that rhyme with orange.

“If you’re taking the word at face value, and you just say ‘orange’, nothing is going to rhyme with it exactly.

“If you enunciate it and make it more than one syllable, or-ange, you can say, like, I put my or-ange, four-inch, door hinge in stor-age and ate porr-idge with Geo-rge.”

So there you go, if a 15-time Grammy award-winning musician says you can make the word ‘orange’ rhyme – then it is possible.

Cooper then asks the ‘Without Me’ star if he thinks about words every day, to which he responds yes and that ‘it drives’ him insane.

Eminem reveals that even though he didn’t like school, he always enjoyed English.

He comments: “No matter how bad I was at school and no matter how low my grades were sometimes, I was always good at English.”

Cooper also asks if it’s true that Eminem would read a dictionary when he was younger.

The ‘Love The Way You Lie’ artist says: “I want to be able to have these words at my disposal, in my vocabulary at all times whenever I need to pull them out.”

Eminem’s career has spanned over 20 years and he has won countless awards, including an Oscar for ‘Lose Yourself’ from his film 8 Mile.

The rapper has also had five Number One singles and more than 20 Top 10 hits.

But among his enormous back catalogue of music is one track he absolutely hates.

Eminem’s mother, Debbie Mathers, was the subject of his 2002 song ‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet’.

He used some scathing insults against her in the song, but he later apologised on a track called ‘Headlights’.

The heartfelt lyrics state: “I’m sorry mama for ‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet’, at the time I was angry.

“Rightfully maybe so, never meant that far to take it though, ‘cause.

“Now I know it’s not your fault and I’m not making jokes.

“That song I no longer pay at shows and I cringe every time it’s on the radio.”
