The Crown’s Emma Corrin has revealed they’ve just tried out their first-ever chest binder after coming out as non-binary.

The actor, who has been critically praised for playing Princess Diana in the hit Netflix series, just posted photos on Instagram of themselves wearing boxing wrap around their chest.

Tagging photographer David-Simon Dayan, they captioned the post: “Some time before my first binder. We used boxing wrap, thanks for capturing this with me, very intimate, very new, very cool.

“It’s all a journey right. Lots of twists and turns and change and that’s okay! Embrace it!”

The 25-year-old also tagged the company where they purchased the chest binder from, trans-owned g2cb.

Since sharing the post, Corrin has received tons of praise from fans who are supportive of their journey.

One person wrote: “Thank you for sharing your journey with us, love you.”

Another added: “You are art.”

“You have no idea how much this means to a lot of people… even me. You are beautiful,” a third commented.

Binders are a piece of fabric that is worn over the breasts to give the impression of it being flatter. Although there are risks associated with the practice, including back and chest pain, it’s been noted by Pride in Practice that the safest way to do so is by using a ‘dedicated binder’.

The Golden Globe winner has revealed they’re binding their chest weeks after changing their pronouns to she/they.

Back in April, many of the star’s followers were convinced Corrin had come out as ‘queer,’ as they posted a photo of themselves in a wedding dress for Pop magazine.

“Ur fave queer bride,” the snap was captioned.
