Dark Finding Nemo Fan Theory Is ‘Ruining Childhoods’
People have been left upset after learning about a dark Finding Nemo fan theory.
Many have fond memories of their childhood and watching the Disney classics, which are known for pulling at heartstrings.
However, as we’ve got older some of these movies don’t seem as innocent as they once did.
You may have once heard of the saying, if you look for anything hard enough you will always find a problem, and in this instance, people have found an issue with one of Disney’s most well-respected movies of all time.

Among the emotional punches delivered by several Disney Pixar films, Finding Nemo stands out.
You may be able to remember that within moments of the movie’s beginning, we witness Marlin adjusting to the devastating loss of his wife and nearly all their eggs, save one, during a ruthless barracuda attack.
Just when we think one tragedy is enough for one character, Marlin’s sole surviving son Nemo is heartlessly abducted by a pair of scuba divers, leaving him utterly alone in the world.
Despite the heartache, the story eventually finds a silver lining with a heartwarming and happy ending, or does it?
The hosts of the Just The Nobody’s Podcast have delved into the Finding Nemo theory and the video clip has subsequently been shared on TikTok, amassing an astounding 18.8 million views.
In their discussion, they said: “Have you ever heard of the Finding Nemo theory? This is going to ruin your day.
“So, we all know the movie Finding Nemo is about a father fish named Marlin and his son Nemo, and it’s Marlin’s journey in finding Nemo after he was taken by scuba divers.

“There’s a theory that Nemo’s not real and never existed. It’s actually Marlin’s imagination because he’s grieving over the death of his wife and all his kids.
“And to make everything worse, the word Nemo in Latin means no one.
“Disney’s literally telling the audience we have a movie called Finding Nemo but it actually means finding no one, because Nemo’s not real.
“That’s why Dory is such a good friend for Marlin, because she has short-term memory loss and can’t remember that Nemo’s not real.”
The theory has left a number of viewers devastated, with one person writing: “I should have just scrolled.”
Another adds: This really did ruin my day what is it.”
Somebody else says: “No – now I can’t watch this the same.”
However, one person argues: “This isn’t true. What about the other fish and humans that interacted with Nemo?”
But people are saying that the other fish in the tank at the dentist’s office had gone ‘insane’ from years of captivity and were seeing things as a form of escape.
They argue that Marlin may have imagined other characters to support his illusion of having a son.
