House Of The Dragon’s Milly Alcock Says Extras Were ’69-ing For 12 Hours’ During Filming
House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock has said that two extras on the Game of Thrones prequel were ’69-ing for 12 hours’ during filming.
Alcock, 22, plays Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the spinoff.
She’s the daughter of King Viserys (played by Paddy Considine) and in the first episode of the spinoff, she’s named heir to the Iron Throne.
In the series, Princess Rhaenyra has many relationships, including a particularly close one with her uncle Prince Daemon (Matt Smith).
During one scene, the pair are shown walking through a brothel and it led to an awkward moment for the stars.

Alcock told the New York Post that the HBO show’s director, Claire Kilner, ‘made sure that we hadn’t seen any of the brothel stuff until we were shooting’.
She recalled: “So, that was our first time walking through the brothel, and he’s guiding her through the room with all of these other bodies.
“So, that was quite shocking. You’re like, ‘This is kind of weird and silly’.”

The House of the Dragon actress then joked that she and Smith ‘felt pretty overdressed’ in this scene, adding: “There were extras who we had just met who were like, 69-ing for 12 hours.
“It’s pretty gnarly. We felt pretty overdressed because everyone else was nude.”
She went on to say that when acting out romance scenes with Smith, it never felt awkward.
Alcock explained: “No, strangely enough. We were just kind of mates. So, it was quite comfortable.
“We had an intimacy coordinator, and we worked with her through the rehearsal process and blocked it out months before.”
In Episode 4, titled ‘King of the Narrow Sea‘, Targaryen left her palace in secret with a cloaked figure, Daemon (played by Smith), who actually plays her uncle.
They ended up visiting one of his favourite haunts and this is when things became intimate between the two. However, the pair did not go all the way.
When the episode aired, several viewers took to Twitter and branded the scene ‘inappropriate’.
