Gary Oldman fans have been stunned to learn he has a celebrity sister.
The 65-year-old award-winning actor is well-known for his versatility and intense acting style.
Oldman, born in London, England, began his acting career in the late 1970s and got his big break in 1982, with a non-leading role in the movie Remembrance.
He’s now one of the biggest names in cinema, having starred in hit films such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and the Harry Potter movies as Sirius Black.
He also portrayed Winston Churchill in the Oscar-winning movie Darkest Hour.

Oldman won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance, with critics describing it as ‘electrifying’ and ‘phenomenal’.
Now, fans are joking that his sister has also produced the odd Oscar-worthy performance – in the fictional east London borough of Walford.
It’s come to light that EastEnders star Laila Morse, who plays Mo Harris, or ‘Big Mo’ on the legendary soap, is actually Oldman’s sister.
One stunned fan wrote on Twitter: “If there is a better fact out there than Big Mo being Gary Oldman’s sister, I want to hear it.”
Another said: “Finding out Big Mo off EastEnders is Gary Oldman’s sister has absolutely blown my head off this morning hahaha.”
A third joked: “Disgraceful that Gary Oldman did not give special thanks to Big Mo in his [Oscars acceptance] speech.”
“How did I not know Laila Morse, aka Big Mo (EastEnders), and Gary Oldman are brother and sister?! Wtf,” added a fourth.
Laila, 78, was born Maureen Oldman but was given her stage name by actress Isabella Rossellini, who was in a relationship with her brother at the time.
Laila Morse is an anagram of ‘mia sorella’, which is Italian for ‘my sister’.
Morse found her first bit of success in her brother’s directorial debut, Nil by Mouth, in 1997.
She was cast as the mother of a drug addict in the movie, which also starred Ray Winstone.
Then, she landed the role of EastEnders’ fearsome Big Mo in 2000, whom she portrayed for 16 years.

Shortly after beginning her career in EastEnders, Morse was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001.
However, she received the all-clear within a year.
In 2013, Morse was forced to declare herself bankrupt, with debts reportedly between £150,000 and £200,000.
That same year, she took part in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! alongside the likes of TOWIE’s Joey Essex, snooker world champion Steve Davis and Westlife’s Kian Egan.
Morse was evicted from the camp in 11th place on day 16.
