Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell has tragically died aged 29 years old.
Honey Boo Boo, who is best known by her stage name Alana Thompson, found fame on the popular TV series Toddlers & Tiaras.
Her popularity on the series saw her land a spinoff – Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – which featured her mum, Mama June, 44, and sisters, including Cardwell.
Tragically, it has been confirmed that Cardwell passed away on December 9.

The 29-year-old battled stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, which she was reportedly diagnosed with in January after complaining of stomach pains.
This rare cancer begins in one or both of the small, triangular glands (adrenal glands) located on top of your kidneys, as per the Mayo Clinic.
“Adrenal glands produce hormones that give instructions to virtually every organ and tissue in your body,” the health organisation states.
There is a chance for a cure if it is found early, but if it spreads to areas beyond the adrenal glands, a cure becomes less likely.
Treatment can be used to delay progression or recurrence.
Cardwell’s mum Mama June – whose real name is June Shannon – confirmed the heartbreaking news of her daughter’s passing in an Instagram post.
She penned: “With the breaking heart, we are announcing that Anna Marie is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12pm.
“She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months she passed away with her family around her like she won’t and we will be updating y’all with more information as we get it today.
“We love y’all and continue prayers and thoughts for our family during this difficult time.”
Honey Boo Boo, 18, penned a heartfelt message to her 1.1 million Instagram followers, promising to ensure that her sister’s legacy ‘lives on’.

“I promise to always make sure to celebrate our birthday like you never left,” she adds.
“The sky looks a little bit different today. We will always love you, Anna. You hit me hard with his one Anna but I know you’re in a better place now and pain-free forever!”
People have also taken to the comments to pay tribute to Cardwell, with one fan writing: “I am so sorry for your loss… I don’t even know what to say.
“Praying so hard for your family at this time. Anna will be remembered forever.”

Someone else says: “Most of us watched Anna grow watching Here Comes Honey Boo Boo… I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing a child is the worst thing anyone could ever go through.
“June we all love you and your crew. Rest In Peace Anna.”
“Our heart goes out to you and your family,” adds a third.
Another fan comments: “I’m so very sorry for your loss. What a heartbreaking thing. Praying for you and your family’s comfort in this horrible horrible horrible time.”
Cardwell is survived by her mother, daughters Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison, and sisters Lauryn, Alana and Jessica.
