The trailer for Indiana Jones 5 has just dropped and people think it involves time travel.

Indiana Jones is arguably one of Harrison Ford’s most iconic characters alongside Han Solo from Star Wars.

Ford donned the iconic hat and whip in 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1984’s Temple of Doom and 1989’s Last Crusade.

He also returned to play the iconic character in 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but the film received mixed reviews.

However, a trailer for the fifth and final movie has arrived and fans are starting to get very excited.

The new movie will take place in 1969 during the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union.

With many of the scientists behind the space programs coming from Nazi Germany, Jones is determined to find out what they are really up to.

But the title of the movie – Dial of Destiny – has left fans believing that it will involve time travel, a popular theory that emerged during shooting.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be the first film in the franchise to not be directed by Steven Spielberg, who will serve as an executive producer.

Instead, this film will be helmed by Logan director James Mangold.

It features an all-star cast that includes Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro) and Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom).

Previously speaking about the film at the D23 Expo in September, Ford confirmed that this will be his final appearance as the much-adored archaeologist.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “This is it! I will not fall down for you again.”

Ford also promised that this film will be ‘kick a**’ but will also tell a ‘really human story’.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be arriving in cinemas on June 30, 2023.
