Jeremy Ruehlemann’s family has shared his possible cause of death.
Ruehlemann, 27, was a model who worked for brands such as John Varvatos, Superdry, Macy’s, Zara and Christian Siriano.
He had also been featured in numerous publications, including GQ and Playhouse Magazine.
Following Ruehlemann’s tragic passing, a potential cause of his death has been revealed.

Ruehlemann’s father, Achim Ruehlemann, has reportedly shared his son’s history of substance abuse and why he believes it led to his death.
Achim tells Daily Mail that he believes his son died from an accidental drug overdose, even though he had been through rehab and had tried to get off prescription medication.
Ruehlemann’s father says his family is still ‘not entirely sure’ what happened, but that they believe the model’s death was a ‘tragic accident’ caused by his reported drug addiction.

Achim tells the Daily Mail: “There was no desire to end his life, this was accidental.
“Obviously, he had some issues with drug addiction, but he was very happy. He loved life.
“He was very vibrant, a wonderful soul and a very giving guy.”
Achim notes that he doesn’t know of anyone who could say anything negative about his son.
Ruehlemann’s death was first announced on Facebook by his friend, Gianni Simpson, and later confirmed by his modelling agency.
Jason Kanner, of Soul Artist Management, shared the sad news with a statement on Instagram alongside pictures of the late model.
He wrote: “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jeremy Ruehlemann has passed away.
“Jeremy was authentically himself. Salt of the earth. There was just something about him that made you root for him.
“His excitement over a big booking, his optimism when something didn’t work out.
“When you spoke to him he listened with his eyes and ears. He truly was and will always be one of a kind. Jeremy, you will be missed.”
While a number of other industry professionals also paid tribute to Ruehlemann as news of his untimely death circulated.

Designer Siriano took to Instagram and described him as ‘a beautiful soul’.
Two months after Ruehlemann’s death, it was reported that his girlfriend, Mary Brian-Clarke, had also tragically died aged just 24.
The PR employee worked for companies such as TIBI, Elizabeth Bensinger and MadHappy.
Brian-Clarke’s family confirmed her death in an online obituary which said that she will be remembered by her family and friends as ‘a talented influence in the fashion industry’.
Her cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
