Jessica Simpson claims she had a secret romance with a ‘massive movie star’ who was already in a relationship.
Simpson, 42, is an American singer and actress who has appeared in films such as The Dukes of Hazzard and Employee of the Month.
She’s just released an Amazon original short story titled Movie Star: They Always Say They’re Single, in which she describes an alleged encounter with a Hollywood actor.
The ‘I Wanna Love You Forever’ singer says when growing up, she thought he was ‘so hot’.

Simpson claims it all started with the A-lister at the 2001 MTV VMAs afterparty.
Apparently, he ‘eyeballed’ her and was ‘undressing’ her with his eyes.
“This megastar, who I grew up thinking was so hot, eyeballed me up and down. Like he was undressing me with his eyes,” she claims, via CNN.
At the time, Simpson was just five days away from getting back together with fellow singer Nick Lachey, who she went on to marry.
When her marriage to Lachey came to an end, Simpson was once again reunited with the mystery Hollywood actor in 2006.

Supposedly, she bumped into the A-lister at the Beverly Hills Hotel and they shared a kiss.
“I felt this warm rush all the way down my body to the tips of my toes in my wedges,” the star says.
Despite their chemistry, Simpson says the alleged romance came to an end when she realised that the actor was already in a relationship.
Simpson claims to have witnessed the star on a red carpet with his girlfriend and she came to the conclusion that she couldn’t be the ‘other woman’.
Allegedly, the actor told her: “You’re the only girl I want to be with, you’re it.”
Simpson went on to say that although she found it all ‘sexy and enticing’, she ‘felt like a call girl’.
She says she realised that the unknown star was ‘hiding me from his chick’.
“I didn’t care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of,” she adds.
Simpson began dating singer John Mayer in the summer after her divorce from Lachey.

The pair broke it off in 2007 and during an appearance on The Today Show, she said ‘the relationship was very complex’.
She adds: “We were great at intimacy. We were great at loving each other. That was easy.”
The actress then moved on with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, however, the pair called it quits in 2009.
Simpson has now settled down with NFL star Eric Johnson. They tied the knot in 2014.
The couple shares two daughters, Maxwell and Birdie Mae, and a son named Ace.
