Joanne Lumley has said the recent Royal Family drama is ‘ghastly’ and that she has no interest in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Although the world has been obsessing over their recent tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Absolutely Fabulous star says she’s ‘not really’ been following it.
Speaking on Chopper’s Politics podcast, she said: “I find it all ghastly.”

She then added that the hit Netflix series The Crown is also ‘ghastly’ too.
As a friend of Prince Charles, she says the family must find the show’s lack of reality difficult.
“I put myself in the shoes of the people, in this case, the Royal Family, where people imagine how you speak to your husband.
“Lots of people love it and lots of people know it’s mostly made up. But lots of people don’t know it’s made up which is awful.”
