Prince Harry Announces New Job Away From Royal Family

Prince Harry has landed a new job away from the Royal Family. 

The 36-year-old is now Chief Impact Officer at US mental health firm BetterUp.

His role will involve offering support to customers that want to ‘strengthen their mental fitness’.

Opening up to Wall Street Journal he said: “I intend to help create impact in people’s lives.

“Proactive coaching provides endless possibilities for personal development, increased awareness, and an all-round better life.”

The BetterUp website has now added the Prince’s name to its team section of the site.

His bio reads: “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist.

“As co-founder of Archewell, he is focused on driving systemic change across all communities through non-profit work as well as creative activations.”

The Duke of Sussex has been very open about his personal struggles with his own mental health in recent years.

His wife, Meghan Markle, recently shocked viewers when revealed during a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey that she had suicidal thoughts when she was pregnant with her first child.

She said she became so low that she ‘just didn’t want to be alive anymore’.

“Look, I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially, because I know how much loss he has suffered, but I knew that if I didn’t say it, then I would do it,” she said.
