The moment Joe Biden called a reporter a ‘son of a b****’ has gone viral.
The US President reportedly made the remark at a news conference at the White House while addressing Fox News reporter Peter Doocy.
It all started when the reporter asked Biden: “Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?”

Speaking into the microphone, the President replied: “It’s a great asset – more inflation. What a stupid son of a b****.”
Apparently, Doocy found the incident amusing and laughed it off. Later on, he said he didn’t even hear Biden’s response, due to the loud noise of the conference room.
When chatting to Fox News’s Jesse Watters, the reporter said: “Yeah, no one has fact-checked him and said it’s not true.”
Following this, Doocy spoke to the outlet’s Sean Hannity and continued: “Within about an hour of that exchange, he called my cellphone and he said, ‘It’s nothing personal, pal’.
“And we went back and forth and we were talking about just kind of moving forward, and I made sure to tell him that I’m always going to try to ask something different than what everybody else is asking.
“And he said, ‘You’ve got to’. And that’s a quote from the President. So I’ll keep doing it.”
Doocy added that he ‘appreciated’ Biden reaching out to him and that it was actually a ‘nice’ conversation.
After the incident, Kaitlan Collins, a CNN White House correspondent, told host Jake Tapper that the President was ‘aware’ he had made the remark in front of the microphone.
Laughing about it, Tapper commented: “The microphone was literally right in front of him, it’s not like he was walking into a back room and forgot that he had one clipped on his lapel, it was right in front of him.”
