Joe Jonas made headlines by revealing the name of the celebrity he lost his virginity to.

However, this detail didn’t seem to sit well with the person involved – and the internet is also not happy with him.

Known for sometimes oversharing about his relationships, the former Disney star took to Reddit to openly answer fan questions, providing the intimate story in a now-famous ‘Ask Me Anything’ thread.

Jonas and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, had initially promised to abstain from premarital sex early in their careers, symbolized by the purity rings they wore.

However, Joe’s views changed when he started dating Twilight actress Ashley Greene in 2010.

Their relationship was highly publicized, and in his Reddit post, Joe candidly shared details about this experience.

“I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley,” he disclosed, adding, “You can probably just Google it. It’s pretty easy to figure out.”

In recounting the night, he didn’t hold back: “I didn’t have any condoms, so I went to our drummer Jack’s room – who was my roommate at the time – and I demolished his room looking for them.”

After a thorough search, he said: “[I] found them underneath his underwear drawer.”

Joe added: “When he came home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished.”

He continued with more personal reflections, saying: “I was in dire need. Needed to happen then and now. Safety first, kids.”

However, Ashley Greene later hinted at her displeasure with his public disclosure by posting a cryptic message on her Instagram account.

The quote read, ‘Class is timeless,’ which many interpreted as a subtle response to Joe’s Reddit confession.

Jonas had also opened up about why he and Greene eventually parted ways.

Speaking to Vulture in 2013, he explained, “We were together for almost a year. I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn’t work. It’s incredibly difficult.”

In October 2016, Jonas offered a bit more insight to Entertainment Tonight, explaining: “I don’t know. I think life’s too short, you know?

“I mean ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world.

“I’m not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart.”

Sophie Turner has broken her silence on her divorce from Joe Jonas in a statement.

Following his relationship with Greene, Joe eventually married Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

The couple had two children together, but their marriage ended in 2023 after four years.

In a joint statement, the two shared: “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision. We sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Greene married entrepreneur Paul Khoury in 2018, and they share a daughter.
