Johnny Depp has finally cleared up the rumours that have suggested he’s dating Jenna Ortega.

In the whirlwind world of celebrity gossip, speculations about romantic entanglements can spread like wildfire.

However, Ortega swiftly took to her Instagram story to quash the rumours, setting the record straight once and for all.

She exclaimed: “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh. I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.”

Following Ortega’s resolute statement, Depp’s representatives stepped into the fray, not only dispelling the dating rumours but also addressing speculation that Depp might join her in Tim Burton’s upcoming sequel, Beetlejuice 2.

They unequivocally stated: “Mr Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her.

“He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be. He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumours that are intended to harm his reputation and career.”

With these statements, it becomes clear that any notions of a romantic connection between the 60-year-old Depp and the 21-year-old Ortega are unsubstantiated.

Moreover, it appears that Depp’s involvement in the upcoming Beetlejuice 2 is not on the horizon.

Nonetheless, the much-anticipated sequel Beetlejuice 2 is set to feature Ortega alongside an impressive ensemble cast, including iconic actors Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, and Michael Keaton.

Fans of the original cult classic can look forward to its release this year.

Amid the whirlwind of rumours and public scrutiny, Ortega has been candid about the impact of social media trolls on her well-being.
