Kanye West’s Twitter account has been suspended by the platform’s CEO Elon Musk

The ‘Flashing Lights’ rapper has continually made headlines for his controversial views over the past few years, as well as his difficult breakup with Kim Kardashian.

West previously caused outrage after meeting with former US president Donald Trump while sporting a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap.

While a few months ago he was spotted wearing a ‘racist’ White Lives Matter shirt.

Around the same time, he also made anti-semitic comments that caused many fashion companies, including Adidas, to end their relationships with him.

Now once again, West’s views have caused controversy – leading to a Twitter suspension.

Find out why Kim Kardashian regrets telling Kanye West to take off his MAGA hat…

His ban was triggered by a series of erratic tweets, which featured a swastika symbol and a Jewish star, reports BBC.

Many Twitter users accused West of ‘inciting violence’ with his offensive tweets, which led to Musk responding to the situation.

The Tesla CEO tweeted (via CNN): “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

The ban comes after West was interviewed by US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Thursday.

The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper, who wore a mask on his face throughout the chat, praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and went on to vent about sin, p***ography and the devil.

In the bizarre conversation, Jones said to West (via The Independent): “You’re not Hitler, you’re not a Nazi, so you don’t deserve to be demonised.”

West responded: “Well, I see good things about Hitler also.”

He continued: “The Jews… I love everyone.

“And the Jewish people are not going to tell me, ‘You can love us and you can love what we are doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we are pushing with the pornography’, but this guy that invented highways, invented the very microphone that I use as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good and I am done with that.

“I am done with the classifications. Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

As the show headed towards a commercial break, Jones then told West that he didn’t like Nazis or Hitler.

Shockingly, West replied: “I like Hitler.”

The musician then said they ‘did good things too’ and people have to ‘stop dissing’ them.

Before West’s Twitter account was suspended, he is believed to have taken to his account and uploaded a topless photo of Musk, alongside the comment: “Let’s all remember this as my final tweet #ye24.”

Allegedly, he also shared a text exchange which is believed to be between him and the Tesla CEO.

In it, Musk is believed to say: “Sorry, but you have gone too far. This is not love.”

To which West allegedly replies: “Who made you the judge.”

Many celebrities have taken to social media and blasted West’s recent comments.

Frozen star Josh Gad, who is Jewish, took to Twitter and penned: “It’s not what Kanye West says that scares me.

“It’s that he has 30 million followers who listen to his insanity on top of a cheerleader in the form of the current owner of this platform.

“No one who says ‘I love Hitler’ should be allowed any oxygen on any social platform (period).”
