Everybody is saying the same thing after Kourtney Kardashian legally changed her name.
The announcement comes more than a year after her marriage to Travis Barker, 47, in May 2022.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news, Kourtney, 44, posted a snapshot of her driver’s license, featuring her black and white headshot and her ‘new’ name beneath.
“Say my name,” Kourtney playfully captioned the photo, delighting her millions of followers.
The 44-year-old reality star has officially embraced her new married name, Kourtney Kardashian Barker.
Yet, her fans consistently pointed out that she couldn’t entirely detach herself from the Kardashian name.

“She did not drop her last name. Because it won’t be so difficult when it’s over,” one fan wrote.
While a second added: “Can’t even give up the Kardashian name. Should have just been Kourtney Barker!”
A third added that she: “Should’ve just been Kourtney Barker,” a statement that many others agreed within the comment section.
Addressing the comments, Kourtney explained her decision on her Instagram Story.
She shared a screenshot from the wedding website The Knot, which perfectly explained the tradition behind this choice.

The text read: “It’s long been tradition for the bride to take the husband’s last name, and traditionally, she drops her middle name and keeps her last (her ‘maiden’ name) as her middle name.
“Her husband’s last name then becomes her new last name.”
Kourtney and Travis are currently expecting their first child together.
On an Instagram post showing the couple together with Kourtney’s growing baby bump, she wrote: “Little drummer boy coming soon.”
Travis then made a cheeky comment about ‘knowing’ the name of their forthcoming son.
“I already know his name,” Barker teased.

The couple has remained tight-lipped about their son’s mystery name, but Kourtney’s pregnancy journey has captured hearts all over the world.
Their baby’s gender was revealed in an Instagram video featuring Barker’s signature drumroll and blue streamers bursting out behind them.

While this child is their first together, both Kourtney and Travis have previous parenting experience.
Kourtney is a loving mother to her daughter Penelope, 10, and sons Reign Aston, 8, and Mason Dash, 13, all of whom she shares with her former partner Scott Disick.
Travis Barker is a devoted father to his children from his previous relationship with Shanna Moakler, including son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24.
