Khloé Kardashian has been told she has brain trauma from the distress of her on/off partner Tristan Thompson cheating.

Kardashian, 38, is currently single after being in an on/off relationship with NBA player Thompson, 31.

The pair share four-year-old True Thompson and a newborn son, whose name has yet to be announced.

Kardashian and Thompson welcomed their second child via surrogacy.

Over the course of their relationship, the pair has faced numerous cheating scandals and last year, the Good American founder discovered Thompson had impregnated another woman.

The stress their relationship has caused Khloé has been explored in an episode of The Kardashians.

In season two of the reality TV show, the Kardashian and her younger sister, Kendall Jenner, had an appointment with Dr Daniel Amen for an MRI.

In the scene, the expert first looked at Jenner’s brain and described it as ‘beautiful’.

He added that there was some minor trauma, which he believes is related to the model’s past snowboarding accident, as well as her anxiety problems.

After analysing Jenner’s, Dr Amen began to look at the Kardashian’s brain.

The mum-of-two clarified at this point that she had ‘gone through a car windshield’ at 16 years old ‘head first’.

Continuing his investigation, Dr Amen continued: “You worry, and you can be anxious, and you have had trauma.”

Pointing at her brain scans on his computer screen, the doctor added: “This will often go with emotional trauma.”

Later on, the Kardashian sister sat down with Dr Amen and explained that there had been ‘a lot of cheating’ while she was pregnant.

Khloé added: “And he [Thompson] just had a baby with somebody else while we were together, that I found.

“And all these things I find out about from social media myself. So it’s pretty traumatic.”

Khloé also went further into her history and opened up about the loss of her father, Robert Kardashian.

“My dad died when I was 19. I was married for five years, and got a divorce,” she explained.

Elsewhere in the show, the Kardashian sat down in her confessional and said to the camera crew: “It sounds unbelievable that is something that one person has gone through.”

In the season, Khloé also opens up about Thompson fathering a child with someone else while they’re also expecting a baby of their own.

She said: “There is something that I’m ready to talk about.

“Tristan and I are having another baby. And it’s supposed to be a really exciting time and it’s just a different experience.”

She added: “This has been a difficult time in my life but it’s the start of something positive and happy and beautiful.”

The Kardashian made it clear that if she had known about this other pregnancy, she would never have gone through with her baby plans with Thompson.

“Why would I want to have a baby with someone who is having a baby with someone else? I’m not that much of a sociopath. I’m a lunatic, but not that f***ing deranged,” she said.

The Kardashians is currently streaming on Hulu in the US, and on Disney+ all over the world.
