Bronny James, the eldest son of basketball legend LeBron James, collapsed on the court after suffering a heart attack.
LeBron, 38, is a basketball superstar who has had an illustrious career marked by exceptional talent and numerous accolades.
From being a highly-touted high school player to becoming a four-time NBA champion and a global sports icon, his legacy as one of the greatest players in basketball history is firmly established.
Sadly, it has been reported his son suffered a medical complication while training.

A family spokesperson has confirmed the news, revealing that the 18-year-old was immediately attended to by medical staff and rushed to the hospital.
They said in a statement: “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest.
“Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital.
“He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.
“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update [the] media when there is more information.
“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”
Bronny has been widely regarded as one of the most promising young basketball players in the United States.
His talent and potential had earned him a spot on the University of Southern California’s basketball team this year.

LeBron, a vocal and devoted supporter of his son’s basketball career, often makes it a point to attend his games, even during the hectic NBA season.
“I understand how important fatherhood is, just coming from a no-father household,” LeBron said in May.
“We always try to support each other in all our endeavours. I’m only as good as my family.”
LeBron and his wife, Savannah, share a close-knit family, with two other children – son Bryce and daughter Zhuri.
Sixteen-year-old Bryce is also considered a top-tier basketball prospect, following in the footsteps of his older brother.

LeBron has publicly expressed his desire to continue his NBA career until he has the opportunity to play alongside Bronny.
He said last year: “My last year will be played with my son.
“Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”

NFL player Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest during a game in January, tweeted his support after the news broke.
He wrote: “Prayers to Bronny and the James family as well. Here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process.”
