A woman who claims she can only fly first class as her ‘BBL won’t fit into economy seats’ has spoken out.

A curvy content creator says her surgically enhanced figure has completely transformed the way she moves through the world, and not always in the ways you might expect.

Annie Grant, 26, from Los Angeles, California, has spent $50,000 on a double Brazilian butt lift (BBL) that has left her with a jaw-dropping 50-inch rear – one that won’t squeeze into economy airplane seats, roller coaster harnesses, cinema chairs, or a pair of jeans.

And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

‘I never fly economy’

For most travelers, first class is an occasional luxury. For Annie, it’s a non-negotiable necessity.

“I never fly economy. I have to fly first class now because I can’t fit in economy,” she says matter-of-factly. “If there’s no space in first class, I have to get a flight the next day so I have more room.”

The extra legroom and wider seating that first class provides isn’t just a comfort preference for the 5ft 4in model, it’s the only viable option.

Standard economy seats, designed for average body proportions, simply can’t accommodate her surgically enhanced curves.

Even her airport experience comes with its own unique challenges. Annie says the stares begin long before she boards the plane.

“I tend to travel in leggings and people stare at me everywhere I go,” she explains. “I’ve had flight attendants and other passengers look at me snootily. They don’t say anything but I get a lot of stares.”

The surgery that changed everything

Annie went under the knife twice, first in April 2023 and again in November 2024, to achieve what she describes as the look of her dreams.

The procedures, totalling $50,000, gave her the supersized silhouette she’d always envisioned, and she’s made no secret of the lifestyle overhaul that followed.

“I wanted a peachy, more curvaceous bum. I like big butts,” she says. “I just wanted to be hotter, and now it’s 50 inches, it’s really big.”

The morning after her surgery, her wardrobe was essentially obsolete. Every pair of jeans, every fitted dress, every item cut for a more standard shape, gone.

“Once I got my BBL, I gave away all of my clothes to my friends,” Annie says. “I now live in Lycra shorts and leggings.”

Despite being a dress size extra small on top, Annie says finding clothing that accommodates her proportions is a genuine daily struggle.

Fashion, she admits, has had to adapt entirely around her figure rather than the other way around.

Theme parks, gymnastics, and movie nights

The wardrobe isn’t the only thing that’s had to change. Annie has had to quietly let go of a number of activities she once loved, accepting them as casualties of her transformation.

Theme parks, once a favourite pastime, are now largely off the table. “I used to love amusement parks, but I can’t sit on the rides anymore so when someone asks me to go to one, I can’t,” she says with a note of resignation.

Her background in gymnastics has also become more complicated. “I used to like to do gymnastics, but I feel it would be harder for me to do flips,” she admits.

Even a simple trip to the cinema requires forethought. “It’s hard for me to fit in movie theatre seats; sitting for a long time is uncomfortable,” she explains.

The same problem has crept into her own home. Her balcony seating can no longer comfortably accommodate her, so she’s found a workaround.

“One time I couldn’t sit in a chair. My butt was too big for me to lie down, I needed a little hole for it, so I lay across two chairs.”

Confidence, content, and cashing in

For all the logistical headaches, Annie insists the trade-offs are entirely worth it. Her enhanced figure has become the centerpiece of a thriving content creation career, and she says the financial rewards have been significant.

“I’ve made more money thanks to my BBLs – they’ve made life a lot easier when it comes to content creation,” she says.

“I feel super confident now. I’m really into fashion, and now I can dress the way I want to.”

Currently single and focused on family, Annie shows no signs of slowing down or second-guessing her choices.

For her, the stares in airport lounges, the skipped rollercoasters, and the first-class-only travel policy are simply part of living boldly, and on her own terms.

“I just wanted to be hotter,” she says simply. By her own measure, mission accomplished.
