MGK is well known for his dedication to ink.
In the past, the ‘Emo Girl’ rapper sported numerous tattoos across his torso, but it looks as though he’s decided it’s time for a change.
He’s opting for a controversial new look – which still allows some of his former designs to peek through.
The divisive look was debuted on his tattoo artist ROXX’s Instagram – but not everyone is a fan of MGK’s new look…
“I like your old tattoos, they were like your history and so iconic,” one person writes.
“Wow. All dat previous work down da drain,” adds a second.
“But why? All the tattoos you have gotten. Why cover them up?” someone else says.
However, some other Instagrammers are fans of MGK’s new look.
One writes: “So I’m gonna need 3-5 business days of recovery time from this. The first time I saw these photos I sat for 5 minutes with my jaw dropped, he is just too fine.”
A second chimes in: “I’m so ready for this new era.”
“Fire as f***,” somebody else states.
But it turns out, the look is far more important than a simple vanity project…

Tattoo artist ROXX tells TMZ that Machine Gun Kelly’s blackout tattoo comes amid a ‘spiritual consultation’.
She explains that: “All his tatts were too chaotic for him now and he was seeking change and order in his life.”
ROXX also reveals the inking took many hours and 44 needles to complete.
She praises MGK for his tolerance of the extreme pain, calling him the ‘toughest client she’s ever had in 30 years’.
The inking was done in her private LA studio, taking four days a week for 13 six-hour sessions.
ROXX also claims the tattoo isn’t quite finished yet!
This more divine perspective on his new look seems to be reflected by MGK’s own Instagram.
He’s posted a shocking image of his new ink, and captioned the post: “For spiritual purposes only.”
MGK also comments on ROXX’s post: “Thanks for the joy and the pain.”
On top of this, he’s deleted all of his other Instagram posts, seemingly wiping the slate clean on his old tattooed self.
