A McDonald’s drive-thru customer ordered a Sausage McMuffin and ended up getting thousands in cash.

The fast-food chain is renowned for providing quick and tasty meals when you’re hungry.

Whether it be a BigMac, a Quarter Pounder or a Filet O Fish, customers are spoilt for choice with a huge variety of items on offer.

However, one customer’s Sausage McMuffin came with a side that is definitely not on the menu.

Check out this viral video of a chef turning a Mcdonald’s meal into a gourmet dish below…

Josiah Vargas, who goes by @dookiedoeboy on TikTok, shared a video of him picking up his food.

He says: “I just went to McDonald’s and he’s handed me my Sausage McMuffin and this bag.

“Well, what’s in the bag.”

He then opens the bag to find $5,000 in cash – or as Vargas excitedly calls it: “A f***ing deposit.”

The TikToker then wonders why he was given the money – before adding that he will return it as he is a ‘good person’.

“What the f***? Now, I have to return this because I’m a good person, I guess,” he says.

Vargas then shows himself still outside the restaurant, grappling with the difficult decision he has to make.

He says: “Why would you guys do this to me? Do you know how bad I want this money?

“Why put me in this situation?”

He then walks into the shop and returns the money, jokingly with the staff and asking if they are ‘laundering money’.

Naturally, the staff were extremely grateful and thanked Vargas for his honesty.

And while he didn’t get to keep the small fortune for himself, they did reward him with free McDonald’s for a month and $200.

He ends the video by telling his followers: “Do good people, return $5,000 and get $200 and free McDonald’s for a month. Good trade value.”

The video has been viewed 1.9 million times, with people widely praising Vargas’ actions.
