K-pop singer Moonbin has tragically died aged 25.
Moon Bin – professionally known as Moonbin – was a South Korean singer-songwriter.
He was a part of the boyband Astro, in which he was the lead vocalist and main dancer.
They are known for their dance covers of hit songs such as ‘ITZY’, ‘NewJeans’ and ‘Seventeen’.
The band consists of himself, MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun Woo and Sanha.

K-pop fans have been left devastated after hearing of Moonbin’s passing, which has been confirmed by his agency Fantagio.
In a statement, the agency says: “On April 19, ASTRO member Moonbin suddenly left us and has now become a star in the sky.
“Although it cannot compare to the grief of the bereaved family that had to part with their beloved son and brother, his fellow artists and the staff here at Fantagio, who have been together with him for a long time, are also deeply mourning the departed amidst tremendous shock and sorrow.
“It pains us even more to have to convey this sudden news to the fans who have given their unsparing love and support to Moonbin.

“Because we know all too well just how unparalleled the departed [Moonbin] was in his love for his fans, whom he was constantly thinking of, the grief is all the more overwhelming.”
The statement asks for privacy during this time and that details of Moonbin’s funeral will not be made public – out of respect for his family.
It adds: “Once again, we express our deep mourning as the departed walks his final path.”
According to local reports, Moonbin was found unresponsive on Wednesday evening (April 19) in his apartment in the upscale Gangnam neighbourhood of Seoul.
His cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
CNN reports that no sign of foul play has been discovered in relation to Moonbin’s death.
Fans have taken to the comments of the K-pop star’s Instagram to pay tribute to him.
One person writes: “Your performances and stage presence brought me so much joy and happiness. May you rest in peace my king.”
Another fan adds: “Thank you for sharing your talent and smile with us. Rest Easy.”
A third user comments: “You will forever be in our hearts, Bin. Thank you for everything. Rest easy now, our brightest star.”
“Fly high and be the brightest star there is, rest in love,” expresses someone else.

While a fifth fan pens: “Thank you for all you’ve done, now you are one of the beautiful stars there, rest in peace and love.”
Moonbin joined Fantagio’s trainee agency at an early age and was an actor and model before he joined Astro in 2016.
As well as performing with the K-pop band, Moonbin performed with his bandmate Sanha in a subgroup called Moonbin & Sanha.
His sister Moon Sua is also a K-pop singer and is part of the band Billlie.
