Savannah Guthrie Issues Devastating Update After Chilling Footage Shows Her Mom’s Kidnapping Suspect
Today show host Savannah Guthrie has issued a devastating update about her missing mom after chilling footage of Nancy’s suspected kidnapper was released by the FBI.
The search for 84-year-old Nancy has now entered its tenth day, and with each passing hour, the mystery surrounding her disappearance only grows more troubling.
When Nancy vanished from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on January 31, there were no signs that she intended to leave.
Her personal belongings were left behind, and there was nothing to suggest she had made plans to travel.
Her family has been firm on one point: Nancy would not have left on her own.

Following this assertion, and the evidence gathered by law enforcement, the FBI remains clear on the theory that the 84-year-old was taken against her will.
Nancy Guthrie requires daily medication
Those closest to her say Nancy has limited mobility and relies on daily medication.
She also needs assistance to move around safely.
Even more concerning, is the fact that her pacemaker and home monitoring devices were disconnected shortly after she disappeared.
Investigators say that if Nancy is still alive, she could be in urgent need of medical attention.
As part of the next stage of the investigation, federal officers are now taking DNA samples from outside her home, including droplets of Nancy’s blood.
Former Las Vegas Police Lieutenant, Randy Sutton, told Fox News that the samples would be used to ‘eliminate individuals or obtain information about them.’

The ransom note
Due to her daughter’s public profile, the case quickly drew national attention.
Nancy is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, co-host of NBC’s Today show.
Guthrie’s visibility – and reports that she earns upwards of $8 million a year – has fueled speculation about whether her status played a role in what happened.
Just days after Nancy was reported missing, law enforcement and local media outlets received a chilling ransom note.
The message demanded $6 million in bitcoin in exchange for Nancy’s safe return.
And while officials have not publicly confirmed the authenticity of the note, they are treating it as a serious and credible threat.

FBI release suspect footage
While law enforcement do not currently have a suspect or person of interest, the FBI released a video yesterday evening of a masked-figure outside Nancy’s home on the night she was taken.
The person appears to be armed and is seen near the front door security camera.
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, who the President ordered to oversee the case, the footage was retrieved from backend systems after investigators gained access to previously unavailable data.
“The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems,” Patel explained during a briefing.
Savannah Guthrie issues devastating update
Guthrie has spoken out after the terrifying footage showing a masked ‘armed’ person outside the home of her missing mom was released by the FBI.
So far, no arrests have been made, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that no further press conferences will be held until there is new evidence to report on.
Guthrie and her family have reshared the footage released by law enforcement.

In a heartbreaking plea, she captioned the post: “We believe she is still alive. Bring her home.”
The family have put out numerous statements following the issuing of the ransom note last week.
Three hours before the horrifying ‘or else’ deadline, Guthrie said: “We are at an hour of desperation.”
Standing beside her brother and sister, she continued: “We received your message and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her.”
She added: “This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”
