Donald Trump Reveals What Would Happen If He’s Assassinated As Iran Issues Chilling Threat To US
US President Donald Trump has explained what would happen in the event of his assassination, following a threat from Iran.
Tensions across the globe have been heightened in the wake of America and Israel’s combined bombardment of Iran in recent weeks.
America and Israel continue missile attacks in Iran
For more than two weeks, America and Israel have launched missile attacks on Iran.
On the first day of the war, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed, along with several members of his family.
Since then, the combined aerial forces of the American and Israeli militaries have continued to bomb cities around Iran, with an American missile being attributed to the destruction of a girl’s primary school, taking the lives of 165 school girls, in Minab.
Several nations in the Middle East have also been drawn into the conflict. Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates have all been targeted, as they are locations where the US and Israel operate military bases.

Almost 800 Iranians are reported to have been killed in missile strikes so far, with seven US servicemen also killed in action, and another 150 wounded as a result of retaliatory attacks from Iran.
Both the US and Israel have been heavily criticized for their targeting of fuel depots in Tehran and Karaj.
The strikes have resulted in enormous explosions, setting homes and shops ablaze, spewing blankets of jet black clouds into the sky. Clouds which contain chemicals that are now raining down on millions of Iranian citizens and have been linked to causing cancer and other serious diseases.
Is World War Three upon us?
While Trump and his administration claim their battleplan is well ahead of schedule and that the bombing campaign will be concluded in a few short weeks, the reality is likely very different.
Iran is continuing to fight back. Saudi Arabia reported that it intercepted two drones in their airspace earlier this week, while the Iranian-backed militia Hezbollah is engaged in combat with Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
Two further drones have been shot down near Dubai airport, injuring four people in the process.
Additionally, three cargo ships have been damaged in the Strait of Hormuz, with at least one catching fire, resulting in its 23 crew members having to be rescued.
The Strait is the world’s biggest oil shipping canal. Iran’s current regime has stated they will block the channel in the wake of further American and Israeli attacks. Trump has countered by saying such action will result in more severe missile strikes in the future.

With several countries across the Middle East being drawn into the conflict, there is potential for major escalation.
Richard Shirreff, a former deputy supreme allied commander of NATO in Europe, said he ‘cannot remember a more perilous moment in geopolitics in his lifetime.’ Shirreff added that there is a ‘growing sense in the Western military community’ that the current situation has ‘already spiralled out of control.’
If the US were to become embroiled in a ground war in the Middle East, with troops on the ground, Shirreff claims China and Russia would ‘waste no time’ exploiting the situation, and Beijing could ‘seize the opportunity’ to launch its ‘longed-for invasion of Taiwan, perhaps as soon as 2027.’
Trump threatens NATO allies
Following the constant bombardment, the price of oil has risen to another high of $106, as oil exports largely go through the Strait of Hormuz.
And while smaller NATO members like Italy and Greece stated that they would not be drawn into the US operation in the Middle East, the UK has also signalled that they will not participate in the conflict.

Much to the disappointment of President Trump.
UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, revealed that he had spoken to Trump about the Strait, stating that he would not deploy troops without a legal basis and a ‘properly thought-out plan.’
But the president has now issued a chilling response to NATO allies who aren’t prepared to get involved.
“We’ve been very sweet,” he said, “We didn’t have to help them with Ukraine.
“Ukraine is thousands of miles away from us… But we helped them. Now we’ll see if they help us.”
He added: “Because I’ve long said that we’ll be there for them, but they won’t be there for us. And I’m not sure that they’d be there.”
Trump asks pastors to protect him
Trump recently paid pastors from across America to pray for his protection.
A large group of religious leaders attended the White House, where they prayed for the US President’s safety amid concerns his life could be in jeopardy due to the war in Iran.
Trump was the target of two assassination attempts during his 2024 US Presidential election campaign, once being shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania.
In addition to those threats, Trump’s close friend Charlie Kirk – who founded far-right conservative group Turning Point USA and was a major ally for the MAGA movement in helping Trump become President once again – was assassinated during an appearance at Utah Valley University, in the summer of 2025.
The pastors who attended the White House placed their hands on the President and prayed for his safety, in a video that has received widespread attention on social media, with many detractors describing it as ‘cult like.’
Iran’s warning to Trump
Following Trump’s warning that America would hit Iran ‘twenty times harder’ if it were to block the Strait of Hormuz, Ali Ardashir Larijani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, issued the following warning in response.

Larijani said, per the Mirror: “The Ashura nation of Iran is not afraid of your empty threats. Even those greater than you could not eliminate the Iranian nation. Be careful not to be eliminated!”
The message was signed: “Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Tehran, March 19, 1404 – 10 days after the martyrdom of His Holiness Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.”
What has Trump said will happen if he is assassinated?
In February of last year, during a discussion about escalating threats in Iran, Trump made a bold declaration about what would happen if the Iranian government ever attempted to assassinate him.
The remarks, captured and reported by CBS 42 at the time, were as blunt as you would expect.
“They haven’t done that, and that would be a terrible thing for them to do,” Trump said.
“Not because of me, if they did that, they would be obliterated. That would be the end. I’ve left instructions; if they do it, they get obliterated, there won’t be anything left. And they shouldn’t be able to do it.”
