O’Grady’s death certificate discloses that the comedian died from a sudden cardiac arrhythmia – which is also known as sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS).

According to the British Heart Foundation, SADS is when someone suddenly dies following a cardiac arrest and there is no obvious cause that can be found.

The TV host has been open about the condition of his heart, as he suffered three heart attacks before the age of 65.

Previously, O’Grady told The Mirror that he would be lucky to even reach the age of 60.

O’Grady’s family has a history of heart disease as both of his parents died from heart problems – his father passed away when O’Grady was a teen and his mother – whose maiden name was Savage – when he was 33.
