R. Kelly’s ex-wife has spoken out after the singer was found guilty of multiple sex offences.
Drea Kelly, who has three children with the singer, made the comments on Good Morning Britain, having previously told the programme she had also been physically and sexually abused by him.
She told hosts Susanna Reid and Alastair Campbell that she ‘wears two hats,’ that ‘of a survivor,’ but also of a ‘mother and an ex-wife’.

She said: “It’s a life of constant fear, it’s called walking on eggshells, you never know what you’re going to get.
“I’m here to speak to the strength it took for those people to come forward and tell their stories, and stand in their truth, knowing that they had the whole world coming against them.
“Everybody’s not lying, it’s impossible. For 20-30 years, 30 different people all have the same journey and story and have survived the same thing.”

She continued by saying that her ‘heart definitely goes out to the survivors and the courage it takes to come forward and tell their story’.
However, she said she was also ‘heartbroken’ as a mother, adding: “This is now the legacy my children will have to deal with and their children’s children.”
She said they have ‘the right to feel whatever they feel,’ but that she will teach them what is healthy and that ‘someone is not allowed to be toxic in your life, just because they are a parent’.
The 54-year-old singer, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, denied all crimes he was charged with, but a jury made up of seven men and five women found him guilty on all counts.
