Adult film star Raven Alexis has tragically passed away, aged 35.
The former entertainer, who had Crohn’s disease, died in Las Vegas on March 23 after she contracted an ‘infection,’ reports Adult Video News (AFN).
Her husband said in a statement that he was ‘blessed’ to have been a part of Alexis’ life.

In the emotional and lengthy post, he penned: “I want all those people out there to know that she loved you all, she cared about you, and I’m just so blessed to have her in my life and be a part of my life.
“She was the absolute world to me, the love of my life.”
After hearing the heartbreaking news, many have taken to social media and paid tribute to Alexis.
One tweeted: “That’s terrible. 35 is still young.”
“Taken so young… RIP,” wrote another.
Paying tribute, a third also commented: “Rest in peace Raven Alexis.”
According to AVN, Alexis reportedly contracted an ‘infection’ that then led to getting a septic shock. This occurs when a person’s blood levels drop to a concerningly low level.
The former award-winning adult entertainer is believed to have begun her career as an ‘internet model’ and she apparently ran her own membership sites.
She was reportedly signed to the production company Digital Playhouse from 2009 to 2010.
In 2011, she supposedly told Shabooty: “At the time, they were the company that I felt was more in line with my goals.
“It was a great ride, and they have a terrific business model for themselves, and I was fortunate to make some amazing and wonderfully selling movies in my time with them.”
Despite parting ways with the production company, Alexis continued to have success and reportedly got involved with a number of high-profile projects.
