Sarah Paulson has said she gets the most ‘horrifying’ comments about her 80-year-old girlfriend.
The American Horror Story star, 48, is one of the most accomplished actresses of recent times, having won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe.
Apart from her recurring role in the Ryan Murphy-created series, she has starred in projects such as Glass, The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and Ocean’s 8.
TIME Magazine even named Paulson as one of the most influential people in the world back in 2017.
Away from her career, the Bird Box star has discussed the horrific comments she has received regarding her relationship with her girlfriend.
Watch Sarah Paulson confess her love for her partner in a touching poem below…
Paulson began dating Two and a Half Men star Holland Taylor, 80, in 2015.
Apparently, Taylor ‘slid into her DMs’ after they had followed each other on Twitter.
The pair had actually met 10 years earlier, however, they had both been seeing other people at the time.
In 2016, Paulson recalled the occasion to the New York Times and said that Taylor was ‘the most exquisitely beautiful woman’ she had ever seen.
The couple made their relationship public when Taylor uploaded a photo of Paulson onto Twitter, alongside the caption: “When captions fail…”

Recently, the Glass actress shared a selfie on her Instagram stories, expressing how ‘thankful’ she is for her partner.

Paulson also addressed her relationship with Taylor in an interview with The Guardian, and she spoke in detail about how their age gap has been discussed since they started dating.
She said that she can receive ‘horrifying’ and ‘cruel’ messages about it.
Paulson told the publication: “If it allows for more freedom, in terms of the way people think about what’s possible for them, then I’m all for the fandom of it and the excitement around it and the interest in it.
“What I don’t love, which is sort of a consequence of it being such public knowledge, is that there is a discussion about it at all.
“Believe me, there have been plenty of young people on the internet who have tweeted horrifying things to me about it, and who don’t support it and who are so cruel. So it’s just a bit of a dance. But one I try to not let into my brain too often.”
She went on to compare the reaction to her relationship to Michael Douglas and Catherine-Zeta Jones’, who have a 25-year age difference between them.
Paulson continued: “I don’t remember people going nuts about Michael Douglas and Catherine-Zeta Jones, in terms of their age difference.
“I think people are fascinated by it because it’s so not typical.”
