A woman who looks like a child has opened up about the ‘creeps’ who want to date her.
Shauna Rae, a reality TV star on TLC who stands at 3ft 10in, has spoken out about what it’s like to be an adult trapped in the body of a girl.
She rose to prominence after her show, I am Shauna Rae, aired at the beginning of 2022.
The series follows the story of her childhood illness that resulted in a side effect no one predicted – that she stopped growing.
The second season of the show has just premiered on TLC and she has shared her latest experiences including looking for love and exploring going to college.

The 24-year-old was born with brain cancer and went through chemotherapy as a child.
This impacted her pituitary gland, which led to her having pituitary dwarfism.
She has been in full remission from cancer for a while but stands at just 3ft 10in, and weighs about 50 pounds.
Due to what she has gone through, she looks closer to an eight-year-old rather than a woman.
“People don’t understand that I’m an adult,” she explained in the series opener of her show.
Rae then said to the New York Post: “If you look at me, you see an eight-year-old.

“But I think if you take the time to look at the details in my face, in my hands, the maturity in my body – and I think if you take the time to actually talk to me – you really understand that I’m [an adult].”
The reality star then spoke about her experiences in the dating world and how she has managed to suss out ‘creeps’ who want to be with her for the wrong reasons.
She continued: “I’ve just developed the ability to spot someone who may not have the best intentions because they give themselves away.
“Their questions are very targeted towards my physicality… They’re learning about me like I’m a specimen in a lab.”
In the new series of her reality show, she goes on a blind date with a volunteer firefighter called Thomas, who also has pituitary dwarfism.
Thomas stands at 4ft 8in and the pair are seen discussing their experiences in dating.
Rae even admitted that she has had children hit on her.
Speaking to People, she spoke about her date in more detail, explaining how he was ‘inspiring’.
Rae said: “Meeting the young man with pituitary dwarfism was an amazing experience. We had a lot in common because of our medical histories. And then our actual social lives are much different.

“I think that is very inspiring for each of us and anyone else when they watch it because we came kind of from a similar background, but not at the same time.
“I think it’s very beneficial because he is such an inspiring man.
“He inspires me to do good. He inspires people in his life to do good.”
Rae is currently learning how to drive but uses special hand controls rather than pedals.
She is also working on gaining financial independence, as she is looking to move out.
