Snoop Dogg has sparked a backlash from fans over his ‘creepy’ behaviour on stage.

The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ star shot to fame in the early 90s and quickly became one of the biggest rappers in the world.

He’s now sold more than 35 million records and has seven platinum albums – including ‘Doggystyle’ ‘The Doggfather’ and ‘No Limit Top Dogg’.

At 51 years old, Snoop Dogg is showing no sign of slowing down and is still touring.

However, his recent behaviour on stage is causing outrage.

The ‘Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang’ rapper is currently touring Australia.

He was meant to perform in the country last year but had to cancel due to ‘scheduling conflicts’ and ‘family obligations’.

During a performance in Perth, he shocked fans with a racy display.

While performing the song ‘Sweat’, he was standing next to a dancer as she bent over.

He then turned and slapped the performer’s bum several times.

The dancer was seemingly unfazed by the ‘California Gurls’ rapper’s heavy petting and the performance continued.

However, the moment was captured on camera and shared on social media – and fans are not happy.

Many have shared their thoughts on the situation and are now calling him out for it.

“He shouldn’t treat women like that,” blasts one person.

Someone else adds: “Creepy.”

Another asks: “Isn’t he married?”

While a fourth person comments: “It’s actually embarrassing seeing him perform this way.”

“When will women get the respect they deserve on stage?” questions someone else.

However, others have defended Snoop and his actions during the performance.

One fan says: “Anyone who would be upset by this obviously doesn’t remember Snoop’s entire career.”

Someone else claims: “If you’re at a Snoop Dogg concert you probably ain’t fazed by this.”

Another person adds: “Yeah the dancer had no idea that was going to happen (sarcasm). Snoop loves his wife more than anyone.

“Get your minds out of the gutter. It’s a show/performance.”

“I wouldn’t expect anything less from Snoop, and I say that with the utmost respect,” comments a fourth.

“If they were truly fans, there would be no questions,” claims another fan.

This is not the first time the rapper has not been called out for his behaviour.

Snoop Dogg was taken to task by singer Dionne Warwick over his misogynistic lyrics.

She was so upset with him that she invited the rapper to her house to tell him off.

Warwick challenged Snoop to call her a ‘b****’ to her face – as it was a word he frequently used to describe women in his songs.

The rapper was too scared to do it and learned a valuable lesson from the singer.

Recalling the moment, he explains: “We were kind of, like, scared and shook up.

“I believe we got out-gangstered that day.”
