People can’t believe what Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas looks like now.
Jim Carrey, 61, was the star of the 2000 film, and Taylor Momsen, 30, enjoyed her breakout role in the Christmas blockbuster.
While it’s common for you to never hear from child stars later on in their lives, the same can’t be said for Momsen – who has since gone on to have a successful career.
You may recognise the actress-turned-rockstar from the hit series Gossip Girl, where she played Jenny Humphrey.
And when a tweet circulated showing her two famous characters alongside each other, fans couldn’t believe the same actress had played them.

One person said: “My mind is blown.”
Another wrote: “Why am I only just realising this?!”
A third added: “I see it now! Gossip Girl will never be the same.”
“WAIT FOR REAL?” asked another.
While another commented: “What do you mean Cindy Lou and Jenny Humphrey are the same actress?”
A sixth person said: “Do you ever just cry because Cindy Lou turned into Jenny Humphrey?”
Momsen left Gossip Girl in 2011 after four seasons.
At the time, a source reportedly said that she left due to her ‘unreliable and erratic behaviour’.
The insider also claimed that when Momsen showed up for filming, she ‘wasn’t very level-headed’ and executives ‘didn’t trust’ that she was giving it her all.
Shortly after, the young star said she had quit acting to focus on a music career, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
This led to her becoming the lead singer of the rock band The Pretty Reckless.
In an interview with Rock 102.1 KFMA, the 30-year-old said that although her focus is music, she will never rule out further film and TV roles.

Momsen said: “I will never not play rock and roll music. I’m gonna be playing rock and roll music til I’m dead.
“For a long time, I said I’d never act again, but I’ve gotten older now, and who knows? It’s not something I’m actively pursuing in any way but never say never, I guess.”
Previously, Momsen has also reflected on her role in The Grinch and why she believes it’s become a Christmas classic.
In a chat with People magazine, she said the film sends out ‘a good message’.
Momsen explained: “I think that people love The Grinch just simply because the core of the story is so sweet and it’s so heartwarming and it has such a good message.
“That no matter what age touches your heart, I think that’s an amazing thing to be a part of.”
