Golf Pro Praised For Reaction To Man Telling Her How To Swing
Golf pro Georgia Ball has been praised online after her incredible reaction to having her own sport mansplained to her.
Georgia Ball, a rising star in the world of golf, has earned widespread admiration not just for her skills on the green.
She’s also hit headlines for her poise and wit in the face of a common but irksome experience: mansplaining.
The golfer recently became the center of an online conversation after a video surfaced of her handling a situation in which a man attempted to teach her own sport to her.
People have been absolutely loving her reaction, offering Ball a ton of praise in the comments section.
One user comments: “I’m behind my own cushion in embarrassment for that guy. She was extremely polite about it, what a legend she is.”
Another adds:, “She showed grace, was polite, and allowed this man near her to indulge in some mansplaining. Would he have felt the need to open his mouth if it was a middle-aged man with a beer gut? I doubt it.”
Television presenter Dan Walker also chimed in, saying: “Georgia showed remarkable levels of class and restraint here. I hope the fella involved gives a full apology and goes to her for a lesson.”

Ball, a PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) pro, frequently shares videos of her practice sessions along with tips for aspiring golfers.
In a recent TikTok video, Ball is seen at a driving range, where she records herself sending a golf ball down the range, pausing her swing intentionally.
During the session, a well-intentioned but seemingly misguided man approached Ball and offered her advice on her swing.
In the video, the man, who remains off-camera, remarked, “Excuse me, what you are doing there, you should not be doing that.”
He continued with his critique: “You should be right through your swing and follow through. You are too slow on the way up and then back.”
Ball calmly explained that she was fully aware of her technique, as she was experimenting with a new swing style.
She responded politely, “OK, I am going through a swing change at the minute.”
The man then stated, “I’ve been playing golf for 20 years.”
At this point, Ball lined up another shot, executed her swing, and the man commented, “See how much better that was?”
Ball then informed him that she had intentionally slowed down her swing, to which he replied, “Keep doing that anyway, OK?”
Reflecting on the incident in the video, which has garnered millions of views on TikTok, Georgia admits, “This was a bit awkward, not going to lie. I couldn’t help but laugh. I was lost for words!”
