Restaurant Exposes Influencer And Tells Them To ‘Get Out’ After They Asked To Pay With Instagram Post
A restaurant has gone viral after exposing an influencer who asked if they could pay with an Instagram post.
I’m sure everyone would love to go out for food and eat for free – but unfortunately, that would be unfair to the staff working there.
While eateries may offer promotional deals – such as half-price on certain days – very rarely will people be offered a free dinner.
A-list celebrities may be an exception to getting a meal without paying, but even that might be a one-off occurrence.
And now one influencer is being slammed after assuming they could get a free dinner…

People on social media have been praising the eatery for how they dealt with the content creator.
One person writes: “As someone who manages influencers and celebrities, I’ve got to say this behaviour is appalling!”
“Expose them. They don’t deserve a following with this type of attitude,” insists a second.
Someone else adds: “Influencers should pay for the meals. Not just expect to get a free meal. Restaurants can’t support that.”
Another user jokes: “Hey, was wondering if I could come in for a free meal. In return, I will eat your food.”
“Get over yourself, well done that restaurant,” pens a fifth.
The restaurant in question is Lucky Ramen and Sushi, located in Manchester.
The eatery took to Instagram to share a message from an unnamed influencer asking if they would be ‘open for a collab’ – suggesting that they would post a story of the restaurant on their story in exchange for a free meal.
Shocked by the request, the restaurant posted a screengrab of the message on its story with the caption: “Oh, what a surprise! Another thrilling DM from a blue tick superstar asking for [a] free feast in exchange for an Insta post. Because you know, exposure pays the bills!
“We’re just thrilled that you appreciate our food, but hey, we appreciate paying customers even more.”
Outraged by Lucky Ramen for outing them, the anonymous influencer sent another message to the restaurant – claiming that its screenshot was ‘bang out of order’ and vowing to never come by ‘anytime soon’.

The DM reads: “Personally, I think you’re bang out of order. HOW DARE you try and expose us like that??? So you think people like us don’t deserve to eat for FREE???
“Just in case you didn’t realise, we are doing our best to help and promote you for FREEEE!!! We don’t expect much, just a free meal to compensate our the time, labour, effort, and positive energy that we are supplying you.
“The fact that you wanna expose us influencers like that, we will not be coming by anytime soon to support.
“[But] your arrogance makes me sick. Haha very funny, you got a couple of giggles, but we’re the ones who are laughing.
“We go where we want, eat what we want and lastly – it’s all for free! WHO’S LAUGHING NOW???'”
Unfortunately for the influencer, Lucky Ramen has issued a scathing response of their own which mocks the influencer’s message – quipping that their message was a ‘game changer’ and it is now ‘rolling out the red carpet’ for free meals.
“And that’s not all,” the restaurant jokes. “Our chefs are ready to part ways with their Crocs and Birkenstocks, throwing them in as an extra bonus for your tender love and labour!
“Even my dad’s medal of honour from the Japan war is up for grabs – he’s feeling generous the old geezer, and he’s even contemplating wheeling in his new eco-friendly hybrid wheelchair for you!”
The eatery concludes its post by writing: “Bon appétit + Arigato-the-f***-outta-here.”
