Adult Star ‘Disturbed’ After Finding Out Close Family Member Subscribed To Her X-Rated Content
Talia Batiste, the OFs star who went viral after discovering her stepfather was a subscriber, has opened up to IGV about her disturbing experience.
In a shocking turn of events that garnered millions of views on social media, OFs content creator Talia Batiste found herself at the center of a family controversy when she discovered her stepfather was subscribed to her account.
This unexpected revelation led to significant changes in her personal life and professional career, ultimately becoming a transformative experience, and now, she’s shared all with IGV.
Batiste’s journey into content creation began in 2020 when she first experimented with OFs.
“I had actually made an OF account back in 2020 when I first heard about it, just to try and understand the platform and see what it was like (my partner at the time didn’t know),” she explains.
However, it wasn’t until 2022 that she fully committed to the platform.
“2 years later I was fed up with working 9-5 for $780 a week and I decided to jump in head first with my new partner!” Batiste shares.
“I’d seen successful girls on TikTok and they were my inspiration, some of them I call friends now! It was a very spontaneous decision.”
Batiste’s world was turned upside down when she uncovered her stepfather’s subscription to her OF.
“I actually found out through his username… I’ve never told anyone besides my family this but it was ‘Jojogil’ on OFs,” she reveals.
“He made a TikTok with the same username and had been viewing and interacting with my TikTok account. Underneath his name, it said ‘from your contacts.’ That was when I realized that I knew the subscriber.”
The situation was made more disturbing by the nature of his requests and his position as her highest-paying subscriber.
“At the time he was my highest paying sub ($2000 AUD in 8 weeks). He made custom requests every single day to see what underwear I was wearing, for me to make videos for him while I was working at my full-time retail job, and the weirdest of all is that he didn’t like videos to be filmed in the bathroom.
“He liked them in my bedroom (at the house he lived in, too),” Batiste recounts.
She adds a particularly troubling detail: “I also find it extremely disturbing that he asked for the underwear content and he would often do the laundry in our house, as my mum worked long hours and he was home alone a lot…”
Upon confronting her stepfather, Batiste faced a difficult situation.
“I contacted him on OF and said I know who this is. He replied saying, who babe? You don’t know…
“And then I followed up by saying if you don’t tell Mom I am going to. Within minutes my stepdad texted me saying, ‘Hey Tai, can we talk?'”
After informing her mother and sisters, Batiste had a phone conversation with her stepfather while her mother listened on another line.
“He told me it was a mistake and begged me not to tell my mum. He said he was ‘looking out for my welfare,'” she recounts.
The revelation led to immediate action from her mother.
“My mum kicked him out that night when he got home from work. I have not had any contact with him since this date in October 2022. My mum’s divorce has officially gone through. She has moved on and is happy now. But we don’t entirely know what he is up to or where he is, he is MIA,” Batiste shares.
The incident initially caused tension within the family.
“At the time it created a big rift between my mum and I and my sisters and I because my stepdad wasn’t there for my mum especially to be angry at so I feel like I copped a lot of that emotion,” Batiste explains.
“One of my aunties still does not talk to me, but she is the only person in my family who doesn’t agree with what I do.”
Batiste’s decision to share her story publicly resulted in an overwhelming response.
“I think that sharing my story helped me to heal a lot. Getting 15 million views was certainly not in my plan but it did help me to understand that it wasn’t my fault,” she says.
“Although I got a lot of hate, so did he. And I truly believe that he should have respected my boundaries as a stepdaughter.”
The viral nature of her story led to significant growth in her social media following and subscriptions.
“When I initially posted the story I couldn’t look at my phone and it did make me super anxious which let me know that I still had not healed from the trauma of the situation.
“But on the upside, I generated so much growth on social media and to my OFs as well I made over $120,000 in one week and it ultimately changed my life.”

The sudden attention brought challenges for Batiste.
“Initially, I had severe anxiety leaving the house. As I used to work in retail and was quite open and I worked at a General Pants store, I would be terrified to go back because people knew that I was around and I was scared to run into somebody who would recognize me.
“This was the same at the gym. I would always second-guess if somebody was looking at me because they recognized me or if they were a subscriber.”
Over time, she learned to embrace her newfound visibility.
“I know have my OFsusername on the back of my car. I get a lot of attention when I’m driving and I’ve just learned that I’m almost 6 foot tall. I’m blonde. I’m fit. I wear crop tops and bikinis. People are going to look at me either way and now I can just turn it into income rather than anxiety.”
Batiste found support from fellow content creators.
“I have met so many creators since the story went viral and a lot of them always say ‘Oh my goodness I didn’t realise that was you. I remember when that went viral.’
“And a lot of them don’t believe that it’s true as some creators do make up fake stories just to go viral. They think that mine is just another fake story to get views.
“But when I go into detail and explain everything most of the time they are completely shocked that this actually happened.”
The experience has led Batiste to advocate for clear boundaries in the industry.
“I think that it should be treated just like any other job where you may come into very intimate/close contact with a client. If I was a massage therapist, I would not expect anybody in my family to come and get my services especially my stepdad or a male in an authoritative position to me.
“I think that’s where the line should be drawn. If it’s inappropriate for someone to get a massage from me they definitely should not be subscribed.”
Regarding her current family relationships, Batiste shared: “My mom and my dad both understand and know what I do but they don’t ask questions other than if I’m happy, if I’m comfortable with money, etc.
“I talk a little bit more about it with my little sisters because they are on social media and see a lot of the things that I post but they know me as a person and know how I have to market myself in order to make money.”
The experience has altered Batiste’s view on online privacy and parasocial relationships.
“I have to go into my job now, especially on live streams or when people buy mass amounts of explicit content thinking that this could be somebody who knows me in real life or has seen me.
“I am very grateful that I have a small number of men close to me and I trust them with my life. It’s a hard pill to swallow that this content is going to be out there forever, but it’s the truth and something that all online creators have to live with and be okay with.”
Drawing from her experience, Batiste offers advice to other content creators.
“It is going to happen. Somebody who should not be subscribed is going to subscribe. It is just a matter of whether you find out or not. You need to be okay with the entire world seeing the content that you put out and if you are not comfortable with that, then this is not the industry for you. You need to have an extremely thick skin.”
Despite the challenges, Batiste has found a way to move forward both personally and professionally.
“Personally I feel like I have moved on. I love how happy my mum is at the moment and I am extremely close with my sisters and my mum. I don’t have a space in my heart for the auntie who has stopped talking to me because if she truly wanted me in her life then my job wouldn’t matter. If she cannot see that my stepdad was the problem here then that is not my fault.”
Professionally, the experience has been transformative.
“I am completely financially free. I started OFs with eight dollars in my bank account and now I never ever have to check my bank account.
“I sell the content that my stepdad had originally requested as custom content and I sell this at least 10 times a day. It has made me hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
She also promises she will ‘keep sharing my story to educate people.’
The situation has sparked broader discussions about the ethics of online content creation within Batiste’s circle.
“I am grateful that I have few but very close friendships in the industry and we can talk about almost anything.
“We talk about the risks and the ups and downs almost every day and I believe that none of my friends in this industry think that it is something that we will do for the rest of our lives.
“We are all using this as a stepping stone onto bigger and better things for ourselves and our families up for the future.”
Reflecting on her handling of the situation, Batiste concludes: “I respect how I handled the situation. I stuck by my mum and my sisters and I always will. I just wish I was aware of the risks before I started my account and didn’t have to go through this in order to become as strong as I am now.”
