It’s that time of year again when Spotify Wrapped delivers its users a fancy little slideshow full of your most popular songs of 2023 perfect for sharing across all your social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
So what is Spotify Wrapped? Usually complete with special features, you can expect the music app to wrap up your most played artist, your top five most played songs, best podcasts and how many minutes you listened to it, revealing all about your music habits in the past ten months.
With an expected release date of the end of November, everyone is keen to know exactly when Spotify stops tracking your music moves for the year.

Here’s everything we know about Spotify Wrapped 2023 so far:
When does Spotify Wrapped stop tracking your music?
We expect Spotify to drop Wrapped around the end of November but they actually stop tracking you much earlier to give themselves time to deliver the slideshow.
Your listening habits are officially tracked from the beginning of January 2023 until October 31 and this happens every year.
Anything you bop along to in November and December doesn’t contribute you to your Wrapped results.
How do you get Spotify Wrapped?
Generally, getting your video of your music loves from the past year is a pretty easy process with Spotify.
On release day, which is yet to be confirmed, you’ll see a pop-up appear on your app (usually can only be viewed on a mobile) and you can click through to your report.
Can you see your Spotify Wrapped from previous years?
Spotify users are able to go back as far as 2016 to see their old Wrapped’s top songs.
They will appear as your Top Songs with the year and a Made For You tag attached. You won’t, however, be able to see all the specific details that come with it.
