In Spirited, the Step Brothers star will play the Ghost of Christmas Present.

However, there will be a twist on the story we all know as Reynold’s character, Clint Briggs, will make Ferrell’s haunting spirit reconsider his own past, present and future.

The cast will also include Octavia Spencer (The Help), Patrick Page (In The Heights), Sunita Mani (Mr Robot), Joe Tippet (Mare of Easttown), and P J Byrne (The Wolf Of Wall Street).

Spirited will also feature some original festive songs that could be on everyone’s Christmas playlists.

They are all written by Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul who are known for their work on La La Land.

While the dance sequences will be choreographed by Chloe Arnold, who is best known for her work on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
