Adam Sandler’s New Netflix Film That Includes His Family Is The Highest Rated Of His Career

Adam Sandler has broken a personal record with his brand new Netflix movie You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.

Known best for his role in The Wedding Singer, Hollywood actor Adam Sandler has graced the entertainment industry for numerous decades.

The Hollywood funnyman is no stranger to appearing in classic comedies such as Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and The Waterboy.

He has grossed roughly $2.4 billion across his successful career and has a four-picture film deal with Netflix.

But it seems that his latest movie on the streaming service could be his best to date.

You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah follows the journey of Stacey and Lydia, two close friends whose Bat Mitzvah arrangements are disrupted by a boy who they both have a crush on – sparking a competition for his attention.

Sandler once again stars in the film alongside his Uncut Gems co-star Idina Menzel, who is best known for playing Elsa in the Disney film Frozen as well as her work in musicals on Broadway.

His wife Jackie and their two daughters, Sadie (17) and Sunny (14) also have starring roles in the film – with Sunny playing one of the lead characters Stacey.

Since dropping on Netflix, the movie has helped Sandler achieve a career record as it currently stands as his highest-rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes.

On the movie ranking site, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah boasts a score of 96 per cent, with his sports drama Hustle standing at 93 per cent in second place.

Trailing behind is The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) with a score of 92 per cent, Uncut Gems at 91 per cent, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Punch-Drunk Love at 77 per cent.

It seems fans and critics love the fact that Sandler’s family are all involved with the movie and are playing substantial roles in it.

One viewer writes: “Adam Sandler’s whole family is so damn good in the new movie You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah.”

A second adds: “Just a movie tip: Adam Sandler’s new movie on Netflix is a must no matter what religion no matter where you’re from no matter what it is bursting with comedy with his family and with humanity.”

“Just watched You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and now I’m pro-nepotism,” says another viewer.
