He played the superhero Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is also set to play Spider-Man villain Kraven The Hunter in an upcoming spinoff film about the character.

Taylor-Johnson is certainly an actor in demand, as he is also linked with the vacant James Bond role, with reports suggesting he has already met with producers about being the next 007.

Reportedly, the actor first met Sam Taylor-Johnson when he was 18 and she was 42 on the set of her film Nowhere Boy (2009), which is a biopic about a young John Lennon.

At the premiere of the film, the pair announced their engagement and they got married in 2012.

They have since welcomed two daughters, Wylda Rae, 12, and Romy Hero, 11.

Despite recently celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary and both of them publicly expressing their love and happiness, they still get asked questions about their age gap.

An interview with Larry King has surfaced on TikTok, in which the couple discuss the scrutiny surrounding their relationship.

The legendary interviewer acknowledges the ‘drama’ around the pair when they announced their engagement, with the stigma being that the Fifty Shades of Grey director is older.

King then says how it is easily accepted today for the opposite and mentions how he was 26 years older than his wife, but ‘no one cares’ about his age gap.

He then asks the couple why they think they get asked so much about their relationship.

Sam responds: “I feel like it’s one of the last taboos. I feel like everyone comes at me with it in most interviews.

“It’s interesting because, like you said, I’m sure people don’t ask you often but they do ask me. It makes people feel like they should have something to say and have an opinion on it.”

The couple then explain that they have never really noticed it and have only been ‘connected as soul mates’.

The Bullet Train star blushed about his relationship with The Independent, explaining that his wife and children are ‘his life’.

Taylor-Johnson said: “My relationship’s because I love my wife, and I love my kids, and that is my life.”

The Tenet actor continued: “The reason I wake up in the morning is to be with my family.

“When I was younger acting was my first love and passion, and since I met Sam, she and my kids, they’re my priority and my life, so my work works around them.”
