Amanda Holden has finally spoken out against the savage dig Andrew Tate left on a recent Instagram photo.

The former kickboxing world champion, 36, is currently serving a house arrest in Bucharest after being accused of s**ual assault, human trafficking, and participation in an organised crime syndicate that exploits women in Romania.

This hasn’t stopped Tate from posting on social media where he continues to share his views on current affairs – as well as firing shots at celebrities.

Most recently, TV presenter Holden, 52, was caught in his crosshairs.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge posted a picture of herself in a black bikini, standing under an open-air shower while enjoying a vacation with her family.

The image had the caption: “Good morning”

Even though the post was harmless and not controversial – the post clearly triggered a reaction from Tate.

Garnering the title as ‘the king of toxic masculinity,’ he replied to Holden’s image: “You are a wife and a mother and you’re far past a teenager. There is no need for this post.”

During an interview with The Telegraph, the television and radio personality, who is a mother to Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11, with her husband Chris Hughes, addressed the response from the controversial influencer.

She said to the publisher: “‘Honestly, I had another shot of me in a bikini with just a close-up of my bum…”

“I was tempted to post with the caption: ‘Kiss my 52-year-old a**e’. But you just know something like that’s going to go on and on – in the end, why give him the oxygen?”

She continued by laughing off Tate’s criticism saying she has reached an age where she no longer worries what other people think of her.

The presenter explained how she feels women are still held to a different standard than men, citing the age-old prejudice that if a woman sleeps with a lot of men, ‘she’s a sl*t’ while if a man does the same he is a ‘playboy’.

In another part of the interview, Amanda firmly dismissed any chance of herself adopting a more conservative wardrobe ‘anytime soon’, despite having faced criticism for her daring fashion choices in the past.

Amanda garnered a staggering 235 Ofcom complaints during the 2020 season of the UK talent show Britains Got Talent for wearing a gown with a dramatically plunging neckline.

Asked if she would ever consider covering up Amanda said: “Absolutely not! I will always listen to myself first because I dress for me – nobody else,

“So if you do one day see me dressed in a Victorian bathing suit, it’s because everything has dropped to the floor and I’ve decided, today is the day I’m going to start covering up.”

Holden added: “Honestly, I can’t see that happening any time soon, darling.”
