A woman who spent over $200,000 on tattoos has revealed what she used to look like before her extreme transformation.

Amber Luke, who is widely referred to as the ‘Dragon Girl’ due to her extensive body modifications, has shared some throwback snaps from before tattooing took over her life.

Known as ‘Australia’s most tattooed woman’, Luke is almost totally covered in ink.

But it wasn’t always this way – and her throwback pictures prove it!

Luke’s body is over 99 per cent covered in inkings, according to the Daily Mail.

The Brisbane-based model flaunts her distinctive satanic symbols, alongside her bright blue tattooed eyeballs and forked split tongue on her Instagram, where she boasts nearly 60,000 followers.

“I went blind after tattooing eyeballs but I have no regrets and won’t stop,” she claimed on the social media platform at the time.

Luke has been candid about the difficulties she’s faced in her tattoo transformation journey in the past.

During an interview with Brisbane radio show Robin, Terry & Kip, she admits: “I am getting very heavily tattooed, but I’m not harming anyone in the process.

“It’s very distressing to know that people have that strong opinion and they can just voice it without any repercussions.”

Luke also reveals she’s had problems with employment due to her extreme look, stating: “I’m not going to sugar coat it, it has limited my [employment] options but that’s OK. Because the way I see it is, I don’t want to work for a company that’s shallow-minded [and can’t] look past my image.

“They won’t look at my work ethic, they won’t look at my morals or my values or what I have to bring to the table.”

But Luke’s fans seem to be just as interested in what she looked like before she began her tattoo journey, too.

The star occasionally shared throwback snaps to a time before she took her inkings to the extreme.

People have taken to the comments of Luke’s posts and gushed over the tattoo lover’s transformation.

One fan writes: “Absolutely stunning before and after. Just a beautiful woman!”

Another adds: “Love your journey; you’re beautiful.”

While a third says: “You are a work of art.”

She captions one post: “7 years…. Wow. A lot happens in 7 years. I can tell you that I’ve learnt a lot about the human anatomy – I have knowledge in infection control, tattooing and body modification but most of all – I’ve learnt the most about myself.

“I have persevered through and endured so much pain – the amount of shock I have experienced is ridiculous haha. But – in saying that, I am strong. I am pliant – I am powerfully built.

“I am unapologetically me.”

In another, she writes: “Pictured on the left – a girl; at that stage feeling lost – feeling disconnected from herself.

“Pictured right – a woman; at that stage feeling turmoil; although resilience radiates.

“These two women had a choice. To be the person on the left and be miserably ignorant to my own wants and needs in life and was projecting hatred onto others, for the inner pain was too confrontational to stand.

“Or be the woman on the right – someone who dominates their brain and emotions and embraces charismatic traits. I am someone who takes accountability and responsibility.”
