Ashley Olsen is believed to have secretly welcomed her first child months ago and she’s finally revealed the baby’s name.
Olsen, 37, is an American businesswoman, fashion designer and former actress who has starred in TV shows such as Full House and movies like New York Minute and It Takes Two.
The Passport to Paris star married Louis Eisner – the son of famed jewellery designer Lisa Eisner – in a private ceremony last December.
TMZ sources have since revealed that the couple welcomed a baby in New York a few months ago – which has shocked many of Olsen’s fans, who had no idea she was even pregnant.

Taking to Twitter, one fan commented: “Ashley Olsen had a baby?!? I didn’t even know that she was pregnant. OML I’m so happy for her! Mary-Kate and Elizabeth Olsen are aunties!”
Another added: “Ashley Olsen had a baby months ago and no one even knew she was pregnant. That’s wild.”
But this isn’t all that has left fans surprised.
It has been shared that Olsen has named her son Otto, which is of German origin and means ‘wealth’.
This has left many fans amused, with them taking to social media and making the same joke – bizarrely related to Tom Hanks.
Hanks starred in a film called A Man Named Otto in 2022. It follows a devastated and lonely widow who decides to take some drastic action.
Referencing this, one person simply wrote: “A man named Otto.”
Someone else pitched in, joking: “I guess you could say one day he’ll grow up to be a man named Otto.”
By the way, Olsen shouldn’t take offence to these jokes as the title character is actually really likeable!
Some of Olsen’s fans may have questioned why she hasn’t officially announced the birth of her child, however, this is not unusual for the star.

She and her twin, Mary-Kate Olsen, own and design for their luxury fashion brand The Row.
Over the years, they’ve valued their privacy and their disinclination to Hollywood excess is evident in their designs.
In a rare joint interview for i-D in 2021, Mary-Kate commented: “We were raised to be discreet people.”
While Ashley added: “I think that potentially that’s just our aesthetic, our design preference.”
During the 90s to the mid-2000s, the twins were a household name, starring in the beloved sitcom Full House and numerous tween and teenager comedies.
The siblings eventually took a step back from the spotlight to focus on their fashion empire.
Ashley and Mary-Kate aren’t the only famous Olsens in the family. Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, has starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch.
